Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with project engineers to define electrical & electronic system design specifications
• Validates electrical designs and technical data for ship systems
• Manage external vendor and contractors to deliver systems that meet design specification and regulatory regulations
• Responsible for on time, on budget, delivery of electrical systems
• Provide guidance to ensure commissioning of vessel systems are completed on time
• Ensuring the quality of deliverables are met
• Adhering with approved company processes
• Continually seek to identify & minimize areas of risk and/or waste
• Provide technical and design expertise
• Understanding of Class and Flag requirements
• Ensure OHS&E policies & guidelines are adhered to

Interpersonal Management

• Communication with client, suppliers, and inter-department to ensure the success of the project
• Communications with all levels of the organization
• Develop and maintain key external relationships with partners, clients, regulatory bodies, and organizations

Essential:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, or similar disciplines
• Understanding of ship systems and able to interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge in use of MS Office, Autocad
• Passion for quality work and desire for improvement
• Excellent grasp of the English language.
• Demonstration of sensitivity to culturally diverse environments
• Ability to devise and implement innovative work practices aimed at improving productivity
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus on achieving results

1. Prepare HVAC Schematic Flow Diagram and D&ID
2. Perform HVAC PDMS Modelling and 2D CAD drawing.
3. Prepare HVAC Equipment layout and ducting design
4. Review and incorporate equipment vendor data
5. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
6. Minimum 7 years experience in oil & gas / petrochemical plant or Building projects
7. Knowledge of PDMS and 2D CAD.
8. Shall be able to lead / work harmoniously in a team belonging to different ethnic groups.
9. Shall be highly motivated and result-oriented.
10. This is a 1-2 year contract.
11. Location is in any shipyard in Singapore.

Established in 2011, the company has grown trememdously over years, clinching ongoing mainly with commercial projects. To manage the growing business, Despace is now looking for :

Interior Designer

a) To work on projects interior design, layout planning, 3D and material proposal when necessary.

b) Coordinate with subcon, clients, landlord and authorities for projects.

c) Able to work independently and know AutoCad to produce 3D and 2D drawings.

d) Experience in commercial industry will be an advantage.

1. Input the required design data into instrument index as per the defined structure and format
2. Design and layout of instrumentation systems
3. Prepare cable schedules
4. Prepare loop diagrams
5. Prepare junction box termination drawings
6. Prepare electrical power supply system for field instruments
7. Cable tray routing drawings
8. 3D Modelling for cable trays, junction boxes and panels
9. Prepare instrument installation hook-up drawings
10. Preparation of MTO’s
11. Diploma/Bachelor’s degree of instrumentation and control engineering, 8 years of experience as an Instrument Designer in Refinery/Petrochemical/Chemical/Power Plants
12. 3D modelling design experience strongly encouraged
13. Familiar and hands on experience with design and drafting tools like INtools, Microstation, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word & Excel. Etc
14. Shall be able to lead / work harmoniously in a team belonging to different ethnic groups.
15. Shall be highly motivated and result-oriented.
16. This is a 1-2 year contract.
