Responsibilities

Reporting to OCBC Arena Management the duty supervisors are to assist public with

matters such as wayfinding and ensuring participants have not overstayed their booking

periods. Provide assistance in logistics and any other daily operational and venue

matters that may arise.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the venue & event ops team on daily operational matters, including:

• Enforce all venue and facility policies, rules and regulations
• Keeps check lists on cleanliness, availability of venue and hall use
• Be main point of contact outside standard office hours
• Support duty tech when and if needed
• Assist in incident reporting
• Keep clear logs of incidents, bookings, group bookings and venue related complaints and issues
• Conduct introduction and tour around the venue when needed
• Report back and trending issue or important feedback in daily report

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the venue management team on the arena floor
• Make sure facility is up to standards and public, hirer or NSAs are happy with service.
• Check EAT or Public use equipment is set out on time and correctly
• Welcome and direct class and program goers
• Evening and early morning shifts to be expected

You will be responsible for finance operations overseeing General Ledger/Reporting and will also be required to work with internal stakeholders to ensure that they comply with financial governance and procedures.

Your responsibilities will include process improvement, data analytics & credit control review, apart from management and statutory reporting.

To provide leadership to the finance team on all accounting and financial management matters including but not limited to the following:

· Oversight of day-to-day financial operations, fixed assets and inventory management

· Support system enhancements and project management

· Mentor and provide guidance for accounting staff, in compliance with accounting standards

· Provide support to the operational business units, involve in ad-hoc projects & assignments as required.

Applicant Requirements:

- Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent or a qualified CA and/or ACCA with 4 to 6 years relevant experiences with strong exposure for overall finance management

- Experience in overseeing a Finance team in a fast-paced and highly challenging environment

- Meticulous with good interpersonal and communication skills

- Highly proactive and analytical thinker, able to work independently, execute and follow-through to deliver solutions to the management.

- Audit experience will be an advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the Venue Lead with venue operations plans, venue handover exercise; ensuring input and support from various partners and a coordinated plan for the management of the venue
• Ensure all relevant commercial obligations are appropriately managed and delivered, so as to deliver maximum value for Sports Hub and the promoters/hirers
• Effective and efficient management of all staff working within the department, ensuring a high level of service delivery
• Support the team in the planning of events within the venue, ensuring every event has a comprehensive operations plan of an international standard
• Work closely with our partners, clients and the various government authorities to ensure all license requirements are achieved and adhered to, allowing event business to run smoothly
• Support team members (Event Manager) with event day operations, being proactive at all times but retaining strong decision-making skills and reactive management as needed
• Review and be a part of all necessary event planning and operations resources, literature, guidelines, and reports with venue lead
• Plan and conduct sports equipment checks with external contractors for sports equipment repairs and maintenance
• Ensure the team delivers exceptional and consistent levels of service, customer care and customer satisfaction in line with KPIs
• Proactively implement strategies designed to ensure that customers are always served to the highest standards in customer care and that best practice operational and service standards are achieved

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Events and Hospitality Management, or equivalent
• Minimum of FIVE (5) years of relevant professionl experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• A proven track record of successfully managing projects/events/venues and delivering results
• Experience in leading teams is highly desirable
