The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for coordinating and performing general warehouse operations and activities including shipping and receiving deliveries, conducting stock checks, documenting warehouse transactions and records, and storing of inventory, picking and packing, labelling and decoding, and releasing outbound shipments.

Our warehouse is automated, the candidate will be trained to work in computerised warehouse environment. Our products are mainly beauty products, such as cosmetics, body care, and perfumes.

• Candidates are required to lift and move boxes of up to 20 kg
• Candidates must be able to read fine prints on product labels
• Forklift license is a must

Working Hours: Mon to Thurs 8:30am to 6:30pm, Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Accountabilities and Scope:

• Provide day to day management of QHSE related matters within CWT SBA plant
• Provide expert QHSE strategy and advice to the management
• Advice management on QHSE work agenda priorities
• Conduct site safety audit inspection, monitor and ensure follow up with validation and verification.
• Evaluate current QHSE related policies and procedures and provide recommendations for improvement
• Identify foreseeable risks and hazards in the worksite and in relation to the work activities and work sequence and assess suitability of risk control measures.
• Review contractors’ method statement, risk assessment and safe work procedure and recommend and implement practicable measures and safe work procedures
• Monitor and provide guidance ensuring compliance on Quality, Health, Safety and Environment
• Contractor management
• Identifying employee critical skills necessary to meet competency standards
• Implement and provide QHSE internal training, coaching to employees as required
• Provide support for QHSE program initiatives
• Provide primary support in accident / incident investigations
• Report to management / customer on QHSE performance
• Conduct internal QHSE audits as required
• Review internal QHSE programs
• Review, update and provide support for implementation of on-site Safety Management System
• Provide support for implementation and maintaining of onsite IMS 9001, 14001, 45000

Qualifications and experience:

• With a minimum of 5 years’ experience in process plant / warehouse – logistic industries
• Experience in customer oriented in day-to-day operation
• Preferably Diploma in Health and Safety (Level C) or equivalent related discipline
• MOM registered Safety Officer
• Must have professional knowledge in WSHE legislation and regulations (WSH act and Environment).
• Familiar with Permit-to-Work System
• Familiar with Working-at-Height
• Familiar with inspection of fall arrest system
• IMS Internal Auditor preferred
• Lead Incident investigations
• Possess effective written, oral and presentation skills
• Computer based skills
