The Marketing Insights & Analytics team sits within the Marketing function of Visa in Asia Pacific (AP) with a vision to be an insight-led engine of advisory.  The team delivers insights & marketing measurement analytics based advisory to internal Visa stakeholders and as a Value-Added Service (VAS) to our clients & partners.  

What a Senior Manager – Insights & Analytics, Asia Pacific does at Visa:

This Sr Mgr role reports to the Head of Marketing Analytics for AP and will operate within the Marketing Measurement practice area with a focus on research and survey-based measurement deploying varied tools & solutions and developing and running Marketing Measurement for Visa.  This role will support AP Marketing function with relevant insights for campaign briefs & creative development, measurement of marketing investment impact on the business & brand in short term as well as long term using research methods and advanced analysis techniques.  The incumbent will manage & provide mentorship to a junior member of the team, training them to operationalize a best-in-class campaign & brand tracking program and coaching how to uncover insights to optimize marketing effectiveness.

Manage end to end insight input into marketing planning, execution and measurement and be a strategic advisor for AP marketing function

• develop & execute creative development research plan (qual/quant exploration & testing) for key marketing initiatives
• maintain an ongoing synthesis of evidence-backed best practices for creative development
• maintain close cadence of communication & advisory with regional & global creative and media leads as well as local marketing leads
• collaborate and align with marketing measurement team on creative targets and KPIs
• communicate, influence and align with global marketing research counterparts

• Having project management certification such as Certified PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified associate in project management) is a plus.
• Experience on network switches and Wireless AP implementation.
• Possesses IT structure cabling experience with knowledge in leading cabling design.
• Understands Construction management methods for both real estate building and IT construction, and comfortable to perform site progress checks.

Good to have:

• Prepare cost estimates for IT infrastructure project.
• Ability to understand Floor plans to design IT structure cablings.
• Able to use AutoCAD floor plan using the Autodesk viewer.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in both procurement and ICT

Management.

• Good knowledge of government Infocomm environment, procurement, and contract

management practices, preferably with hands-on knowledge of GeBIZ.

▪ Examine, develop and implement strategic Finance and Accounting initiatives in accordance to finance group mid-term plan and transformation projects as a regional finance HQ function.

▪ Establish a set of clear and consistent Finance and Accounting policies and practices, to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance organization including internal controls in compliance with corporate objectives and government standards.

▪ Work closely with Yanmar Holdings (YHD) Finance and Accounting Division to ensure finance programs and policies that are being created support business needs.

▪ Manage finance projects such as acquisition, spin out, redeployment, merger, joint venture.

▪ Spear controllership in operational activities and risks in relation to finance and accounting, treasury and order management for smooth operation that demonstrates high standard of accuracy.

▪ Review, evaluate financial statements, reports, and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with corporate policy and statutory compliance. Analyze, simulate and recommend preventive countermeasures to safeguard financial position.

▪ Lead and review forecasting and budgetary planning and reporting.

▪ Manage year end audit process, impairment assessment and attend to audit queries, for timely sign off of audited accounts.

▪ Develop and implement optimized tax strategies, provide insight on tax implication and tax risk area in supporting business initiatives. Manage accurate and timely taxes filing (corporate tax, GST, withholding tax, transfer pricing documentation, etc), and ensuring tax compliance.

▪ Oversee treasury activities such as cash funds, foreign exchange, debt and capital management, consider optimized options and funding sources for cost-effectiveness. Actively safeguard the company financial and perform risk management by analyzing the transactional activities.

▪ Recommend financial advice or analysis when making investments. The work may include designing investment framework, industry analysis, financial modeling and due diligence.

▪ Provide guidance and leadership in developing or enhancing accounting policies and internal controls, drive operational excellence and efficiency.
