HR FUNCTIONS

• Assist the HR & Admin Manager in handling full spectrum of HR functions - recruitment, selection & employment, all Work Pass matters.
• Responsible for the full payroll functions in consultation with HR & Admin Manager
• Maintain, upkeep and ensured timely and accurate updates of HR database, all employee personal files and records are complete and treated in the strictest confidence

ADMIN FUNCTIONS

• Lead HR Admin team, manage and improve the workflow to give strong support to operations and finance department
• Assist the HR & Admin Manager with vendor management and government grant applications
• Acquire and maintain office furnishing, equipment, and supplies eg. Stationery, photocopiers
• Maintain company assets such as desktops and laptops with help from IT outsourcing vendors
• Ensure that the office and pantry is well-maintained, organized and secure.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

The Asian School of the Environment (ASE) at Nanyang Technological University is an interdisciplinary School that aims to be a world leader in environmental research focusing on environmental challenges in Asia. The laboratory is currently looking for a Research Assistant to support the assessment of nature futures in new cities in Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will lead the analysis of nature values for a dataset of Southeast Asian cities.

Key requirements and competencies:
