Responsibilities

Account Retention:

• Ensuring business retention of existing cross border accounts and further penetration
• Monitoring and analyzing key accounts shipping trends/volume and revenue sustainability
• Providing consistent updates to management on areas of improvement for sales performance
• Proactive negotiation with clients on contractual rates to ensure business retention
• Maintain positive relationships with existing merchants as the main touchpoint and attend to their needs Provide solutions and resolve issues professionally and promptly

Account Development:

• Source for new opportunities and cross-selling of product mix Import & Export
• To handle all incoming international delivery leads
• Work on International inbound and outbound leads diligently
• Uncovering new areas of business opportunities and having a sustainable pipeline strength of 20% vs plan
• Provide weekly updates on pipeline strength and progress of potential opportunities
• Reporting of weekly activities with clients (visits/calls & meetings)
• Having a good collaboration with internal business units- stakeholders to deal with clients’ issues/challenges and concerns appropriately
• Accountability to deliver ad-hoc projects/tasks that have been assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in an Account Manager role. Relevant experience in ecommerce logistics and cross-border ecommerce is an added advantage
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or other relevant fields
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent knowledge in eCommerce/international logistics and/or parcels will be highly advantageous
• A self-motivated, result-oriented individual, passionate about sourcing new business

Job Responsibilities

The role holder, reporting to the Assistant Group Financial Controller in day-to-day operations, is responsible for tax, audit and reporting activities of the group in compliance with local & international tax regulations, Financial Reporting Standards, and Group accounting policies & guidelines.

Tax

• Provide support for the tax components of Group direct and indirect taxes, ensuring adherence to local country tax mandates.

• Attend to tax queries with the tax authorities.

• Collaborate with country Finance or Tax Head and provide guidance on tax compliance related matters, including tax reporting, tax document management and tax cashflow management

• Collaborate with external parties to oversee and formulate transfer pricing documentation for bolstering inter-company transactions in alignment with local regulations.

• Collaborate with external and internal parties to ensure compliance to Group Country by Country Reporting requirements.

• Analyze and devise business strategies pertaining to taxation.

• Serve as an internal business consultant for all tax-related matters within the Group.

Audit

• Lead the audit of the Group, working with Country Head of Finance and ensure prompt and timely completion of external audits of the Group and its subsidiaries.

Reporting & Compliance

• Review and provide accurate Group financial information to Management.

• Working closely with Country Head of Finance to ensure timely delivery of output.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess The Following

Qualification and Experience

• Qualified ACCA / CA with at least 8 yrs experience in audit & tax, and 3 yrs experience in a leadership role

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to research and interpret accounting and tax guidance and draft accounting memos to support conclusions

• Strong IFRS acumen and understanding of financial reporting

• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

SUMMARY
