We're looking for Counsellors or Social Workers to join our FAM@FSC team. You will be part of our Strengthening Families Programme, supporting families and individuals build resilience while enhancing their psychological functioning and family relationships.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The roles & responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following:

• Work with divorced or divorcing parents to resolve co-parenting disputes.
• Facilitate supervised visitation sessions for children and visiting parents in high-conflict divorce cases.
• Conduct psycho-educational and therapeutic group programs for parents and children.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and program statistics in accordance with professional practice standards and service models.
• Prepare reports for the Family Justice Court for court-mandated cases.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile:

As a Counsellor, you will have:

• A minimum qualification of a master's degree in counselling recognized by Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC);
• Registered clinical member with SAC (or in the process of applying).

As a Social Worker, you will have:

• A minimum qualification of a recognised bachelor's degree in social work (or higher);
• Registered social worker with SWAAB (or in the process of applying).
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience, with parents, couples and families.
• Ability to work with other professionals within and outside the agency to provide holistic and effective therapeutic and groupwork services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficient in maintaining detailed and accurate documentation.
• Ability to assess and manage risks related to family violence, child abuse, and suicide.
• Competent in working with highly conflictual couples and families.
• Ability to compile data for reporting and trend analysis.
• Excellent team player with good coordination and collaborative skills.
• Capability to take on a leadership role when situations require it.
• Fluent in another language such as Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Flexibility to work on Saturdays and some weekday evenings.

Duration: 3 months (Extendable/ Convertable)

Location: Clementi

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 530pm

Responsibilities:

• Maintain transactions for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), including but not limited to processing payments, issuing invoices, staff reimbursements, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and submit GST returns.
• Handle insurance claims related to medical and work injury incidents.
• Manage medical claims, insurance claims, and allowance claims.
• Provide HR administrative and corporate services.
• Oversee staff onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Process various claims, grants, programs, and course applications for employees.
• Update employees' personal information.
• Manage employees' leave and claims.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience. Prior experience in an accounting and administrative role is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently while being a good team player with strong communication skills.
• Capable of handling multiple duties and responsibilities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in SAGE, Excel, and Word.
• Preferably holding a Certificate or Diploma in Accounting.
