Purpose of the post

The Research Assistant (RA) will work closely with, the Principal Investigator, lab members, and collaborators to ensure smooth operation of computing servers/storage, efficient database management, and successful completion of research projects in the lab.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The research assistant will support the effort in conducting cutting-edge neuroscience and machine learning research and development. He/she has the opportunity to learn state-of-the-art neuroimaging techniques, data collection and analysis, with healthy participants and patients with neuropsychiatric diseases. Get to know the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Defining the product strategy and roadmap for merchant and driver financial services regionally (Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore)
• Collaborate with Collections to build innovative solutions to improve repayment rates and operational efficiency.
  Work closely with regional product teams to enhance, localize and execute financial-services initiatives regionally
• Collaborate with regional product teams to ideate, conduct research and implement enhancements across Southeast Asia
  Ensure that products are compliant with local regulatory requirements and drive enhancements to safeguard our users
  

The day-to-day activities:

• Define and own the vision, strategy, goals and roadmap
• Dive deep into our data to identify the biggest opportunities to optimize our systems to benefit Users and Grab.
• Own project delivery, feature development and experimentation end-to-end, including creating detailed product & business requirements, driving cross-functional execution, sharing insights and learnings across the org, and ensuring stakeholder visibility
• Collaborate with engineering, design, analytics and data science to define an ambitious product strategy, develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog, and execute on delivering great experiences for users.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, other Product teams, and regional/country teams on go-to-market strategies and execution.

The must-haves:

• 8+ years experience in product management at a tech software company, with demonstrable success in formulating product strategy & launching new products / features with clear impact
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills
• Empathy for users and a drive to discover and resolve their pain points
• Excellent business acumen, customer-centric, team and results-oriented

• Bachelors in computer science, software engineering, information technology, business, finance, economics or related fields

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop and execute yearly production plan to achieve business objectives, including production volume, manufacturing cost, quality, and safety.
• Establish and maintain performance standards for operations, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and efficiency metrics.
• Align the manufacturing organization with the company's vision, purpose, and priorities.
• Ensure timely production of high-quality products, monitoring production quality, cost, and shipment schedules to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Review workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, such as increasing efficiency, reducing costs, or improving safety. Coordinate material and equipment usage for production stages.
• Maintain production schedules by monitoring progress, identifying potential delays, and taking corrective action as needed.
• Conduct performance appraisals for direct reports and monitor employee performance to ensure adherence to company standards for quality and productivity.
• Develop training programs for employees to enhance their skills in recent technologies or processes, reducing errors and mistakes.
• Fulfill other responsibilities assigned by management.

Skills and Competencies Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated experience exceeding 5 years in a production management capacity, ideally within the semiconductor industry.
• A comprehensive understanding of production processes, quality control procedures, and safety standards is crucial.
• Exceptional leadership and communication proficiencies are necessary, coupled with the ability to inspire and oversee a diverse workforce.
• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making, demonstrating a strategic approach to challenges.
• Track record of successfully implementing continuous improvement strategies and fostering operational excellence.
• Familiarity with the latest technologies and systems utilized in manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Adaptable to shifting priorities and comfortable thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Perform any other ad-hoc job duties as and when assigned by superior.
