AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to anchor deep national capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The programme office is hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and brings together all Singapore-based research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies developing AI products to perform use-inspired research, grow the knowledge, create the tools, and develop the talent to power Singapore's AI efforts.

AI Singapore (AISG) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Research Assistant. The Research Assistant will collaborate with researchers, engineers, and external stakeholders to facilitate the research, evaluation and deployment processes involved in research projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Participate in the full research to deployment pipeline and help conceptualize, develop research experiments, and then implement the systems to execute these experiments.
• Work with a team and interact closely with both the academic researchers and the industry partners.
• Attend reading groups and seminars, master research techniques and engineering practices, and design research tools and experimental testbeds.
• Apply state-of-the-art AI algorithms, explore new solutions, and build working prototypes. You will also learn to deploy the systems and solutions at scale.

Qualifications

An ideal candidate should have the following:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in AI, computer science, or related disciplines including Engineering Systems;
• Strong system-building skills and keen interests in working with emerging technologies and frameworks;
• Solid background in AI and machine learning, preferably with at least 1-year of experience;
• Past experiences in:

- Open-source DevOps tools and software as a service solutions;

- Development and implementation of AI and machine learning algorithms;

- Related work at an academic research lab

• Good written and verbal communications skills;
• A willingness to learn and experiment with novel ideas and new domains.
• Interest or prior work in social data science and online trust and safety. Experience in areas such as user behaviour analysis, content moderation, misinformation detection, or platform security will be highly advantageous.

Job Descriptions:

• Provide sophisticated calendar management for GCEO. Prioritize inquiries and requests, make good judgement and resolve any scheduling issues in the management of GCEO’s calendar to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
• Perform a gatekeeping role for GCEO on email inboxes and inquiries, compose and prepare correspondences.
• Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the GCEO’s ability to effectively lead the organisation, including preparation of reports and presentations, collect and prepare information for meetings, document and write minutes, maintain contact lists, and make travel arrangements etc.
• Maintain an organised and efficient filling system.
• Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders including Board of Directors.
• Assist to proof-read business contracts, agreements prior submitting to GCEO for approval.
• Manage all aspects of GCEO’s office services.
• Provide event management, personal tasks and errands support when requested.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in an Executive Assistant capacity supporting C-Suite level executives
• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration. Basic legal knowledge is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Strong command of English, and good written skills
• Proficiency in Chinese would be an added advantage as this position will be required to liaise with Business Teams in China on regular basis
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor shipment schedules, production status, and provide updates to customers.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Liaise with customers, production, and suppliers to align on shipment plans and expedite materials.
• Act as the primary contact for quality, delivery, and service-related matters.
• Track supplier performance, production KPIs, and handle RMA issues.
• Manage RFQs and prepare periodic performance reports for management.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields.
• 2–5 years of customer service or supply chain experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily warehouse tasks: receiving, storing, kitting, and un-crating.
• Verify goods for accuracy and quality.
• Manage defective materials and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Report discrepancies and collaborate with the team.
• Operate reach trucks (training provided if needed).

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE "O" Level.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Forklift license is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing, verification & ERP Data Entry
• Payment Due Date Monitoring & Preparation of Payment Vouchers for approval
• Assist with month-end closing, reconcile accounts, and prepare necessary reports.
• Handle finance-related inquiries via phone and monitor/respond to the Accounts Payable (AP) mailbox.
• Update payment entries in Business Central and ensure accurate records
• Supports accounts & admin administrative work

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., LCCI) are a plus.
• 1-2 years experience in an accounts payable or finance role, entry level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Experience with ERP system preferred, in particular Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Organised and meticulous with data entry and has the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilites

•  Consideration of planning to optimise the utilisation of full time auditors
•  Ensure that overall scheduling (recertification, surveillance, RFA and any special audits) is managed according to the scheduling KPIs
•  Minimise the cost of scheduling specialists and subcontractors when FTEs are available
•  Safeguard attrition rate by supporting recertification sales in pre-scheduling existing clients
•  Extract the key information in Tableau system for maintaining certification lists to be recertified (send reminders for recertification sales so no client is missed)
•  Participate in monitoring operation performance as per TQR
•  Ensure advanced scheduling for all certification audits and training based on KPI
•  Scheduling and coordinating the planning for key accounts client pertaining to operation needs and the coordination of required audits until the completion of the required assessments
•  Handling RFA requests from other BV counterparts worldwide for performance of audits locally and within the region if needed
•  Liaise with auditors (both FTE and Associates) for scheduled and planned audits
•  Confirmation of schedules with clients and monitoring support for recertification sales preventing attrition
•  Support technically in verifying the posted approved auditor's technical codes as basis for auditor assignments through Siebel
•  Optimisation and management of Siebel systems for scheduling and monitoring operations related performance
•  Coordinate with BV Certification commercial team to allocate auditors, manage the corporate schedules for large contracts and liaison to other BV counterparts
•  Support to RCL scheduling assurance of availability of file approvers accordingly
•  Ensure correct reflection of billable activities for correct invoicing
•  Monitoring of auditor utilisation
•  Reporting of achievement of KPIs set by TQR
•  Support the coordination of approvals of auditors competency and witness planning for accreditation requirements, 17021 requirements and other regulatory support requirement
