• WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support).

Deployment:

• Mondays to Friday: 8:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Working hours may be adjusted occasionally, within the 42- hour per week limit, to meet school’s needs
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, Semester 1 and 2 breaks (June and November/December school holidays) and gazetted public holidays.
• Salary will be pro rated for the months that has holidays

Scope of Works:

• Assist teachers in the preparation of teaching materials, laboratory resources, conduct of practical sessions and preparation of worksheets;
• Provide support for programmes run by the department which may include shifting of bulky laboratory items;
• Accompany students on learning journeys;
• Manage inventory of school’s laboratory and science equipment and materials;

Job Description

We aim to develop advanced AI models for creating cardiac digital twins, i.e., personalized virtual heart models. We will employ the dataset (imaging, ECG, electronic medical records, etc) collected from patients, to accurately modelling the anatomy and simulate the function of patients' diseased hearts. These models, coupled with machine learning techniques, contribute to the identification of crucial mechanistic relationships and features that offer insights into the trajectory of a patient's heart condition. The research will delve into the intersection of AI and cardiac sciences, exploring novel approaches to revolutionize our understanding of the human heart. With the potential to impact medical treatments and technology advancements, it promises an exciting and important avenue for personalized medicine. We will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including academics/ experts from NUS, University of Oxford, University of Southampton, Imperial College London, Fudan University, etc.

The selected Research Assistant will be required to:

• Collect, preprocess, and analyze clinical data.
• Develop neural surrogate model for efficient cardiac simulation.
• Write well-documented code for experiments, ensuring reproducibility and efficiency.
• Write and submit research articles to top-tier peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

Qualifications

• Possess a recognised bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, computer science, data science, applied statistics/ mathematics, or any-related field.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and learning capability.
• Proficiency in programming (Python, C++, etc)
• Strong written and spoken communication and comprehension and able to present results clearly.
• First-authored relative publication in top-tier journals and conferences are preferred.
• Being self-motivated and enthusiastic about AI for healthcare.
• Open to fixed-term contract.

Working Hrs: 42.5hrs/weekly

Responsibilities:

1. Front desk customer service for Primary School and MOE Kindergarten

2. Answer phone calls, attend to visitors, and respond to enquiries

3. Maintain customer information and communicate with teachers

4. Handle student needs, including first aid and lost & found items

5. Assist with receiving goods and mail

6. Assist with distributing brochures and information to teachers and students

7. Manage inventory of spare uniforms and first aid items

8. Update attendance system and organisational chart

9. Perform other duties as assigned by school leaders and administrative staff

Qualifications:

1.Minimum 3 GCE “N” Level Passes including English and Mother Tongue language.

2.Must be proficient in computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel.

3.Possess customer service oriented disposition with good interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Shall have at least 3 years of relevant experience in administrative role and/or front desk reception, preferably with prior working experience in an educational institution.

5.Able to relate well with young children.
