1. Deliver a comprehensive program (based on AEP or ILT Centre programs) to develop essential life skills, functional skills, and vocational skills to promote independence of the adult beneficiaries in DSA’s centre based adult programs.

2. Conduct appropriate modes of assessment to monitor beneficiaries’ progress by providing feedback, progress reports and implementing suitable instructional supports to close gaps.

3. Plan and prepare the Individualised Training Plan (ITP) with the Head/Team (Adult Education Services) and other relevant professionals through meetings with caregivers.

4. Monitor ITP to ensure the client is achieving the educational, community, vocational and behavioural goals as scheduled.

5. Implement community referenced training to ensure that the client achieves the community goals as planned.

6. Support and assist in training for employment opportunities.

7. Conduct training for teachers, professionals and caregivers who work with or care for persons with Down syndrome.

8. Participate in the development and implementation of DSA education and training programmes,

9. Advise caregivers of persons with Down syndrome on matters relating to education and training.

10. Plan and conduct Parent Trainer meetings. Prepare relevant documents.

Administrative and Others

1. Provide administrative support to the Head and Assistant Director (Services) and assist with monthly reports and outcome indicators data for submission to relevant authorities.

2. To participate in events organized/supported by DSA (S) and research projects.

3. To attend relevant training and courses.

4. Undertake any other duties as assigned by DSA.

1. Minimum qualification: Diploma (SPED, Supported Employment, Community Services, Counselling and Guidance, Psychology, Social Work)

2. 2-3 years’ experience in teaching adults with disabilities.

Our client is an estate management services company. They are looking for a Temp Internal Audit Assistant to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the Central - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Help with collecting and reviewing data for audit planning.
• Assist in gathering proof for audits to assess how well the company's processes and controls work and ensure they follow rules.
• Use data analysis tools like Excel, ACL, and Tableau in audits.
• Keep clear and organized records of audit work and findings.
• Contribute to identifying issues and making suggestions for process improvements.
• Support the team leader in finalizing audit findings and reports, and gather management responses and action plans.
• Monitor progress in addressing audit issues and control problems.
• Assist in creating the annual audit plan and prepare reports and materials for management and the audit committee.

Requirements:

• Background in accounting, business, or related studies (No experience required for applicants).

• Conduct site safety audit inspections, monitor and drive contractors’ close out of safety violations.
• Identify foreseeable risks and hazards in the worksite and in relation to the work activities and work sequence and assess suitability of contractors’ risk control measures.
• Review contractors’ method statement, risk assessment and safe work procedure and recommend and implement practicable measures and safe work procedures.
• Facilitate Investigation processes and report to WSH Manager on all incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Liaise with main contractor representatives, subcontractor and relevant Authorities pertaining to safety matters.
• Monitor follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance and close out inspection findings and observations.
• Ensure SMM implementation and compliance due to COVID-19 or any other pandemic outbreaks.
• Inculcate a safe working environment and promote positive safety culture and training.
• Relevant duties as and when assigned by Reporting Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or Workplace Safety & Health disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as WSHO.
• MOM Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO).
• Highly motivated, results-oriented and good team player.
• Able to manage contractors and consultants.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance and meeting tight deadlines and report effectively to the WSH Manager.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Tuas for 5.5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

1. Enrollment Management:Process student registrations, withdrawals, and transfers.
   Maintain accurate and up-to-date enrollment records.
   
2. Communication:Liaise with students, instructors, and other stakeholders regarding course details, schedules, and any changes.
   Respond promptly to inquiries and provide support through various communication channels.
   
3. Support Services:Assist students with course-related inquiries, technical issues, and general support.
   Organize and facilitate help sessions or tutorials as needed.
   
4. Record Keeping:Maintain organized records of student enrolments, attendance and assessments. Archieving of all records on a timely and organised manner.
   Generate reports for management and regulatory purposes.
   
5. Logistics:Coordinate logistical aspects of in-person courses, including room assignments, materials distribution, and scheduling.
   Ensure all necessary resources are available for successful course delivery.
   
6. Scheduling:Plan and coordinate course schedules, considering instructor availability, student needs, and any external constraints.
   Manage any changes to the schedule and communicate updates effectively.
   
7. Technology Management:Oversee technical aspects of course delivery, including the learning management system (LMS) and other online platforms.
   Collaborate with IT to address technical issues and ensure a smooth learning experience.
