• DFT Architecture Design: Lead the design of DFT architecture at the chip level, implementing testing circuits such as Scan, Mbit, Memory repair, and Bscan.
• DFT Circuit Design and Insertion: Implement DFT circuits and integrate them into the chip, ensuring proper timing constraints for DFT mode convergence.
• Functional Verification: Perform functional verification, pre-simulation, post-simulation, and power simulation of DFT circuits. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during testing.
• Test Vector Development: Develop high-coverage, low-cost test vectors and validate them through simulation and timing analysis.
• Yield Improvement and Fault Analysis: Contribute to yield improvement efforts and fault analysis. Assist with testing SDC (Synopsys Design Constraints) constraint files in testing modes and help with timing and power convergence in the backend.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) are a plus.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in DFT, with expertise in chip-level DFT architecture design, circuit insertion, and testing.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in DFT methodologies, including Scan, Mbit, Memory repair, and Bscan.
  • Strong experience with functional verification and simulations (pre/post, power simulation).
  • Ability to develop efficient test vectors and perform timing and simulation analysis.
  • Familiarity with yield improvement and fault analysis processes.
• Tools & Scripting: Experience with DFT tools and scripting languages (e.g., TCL, Perl, Python).

Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Skillsets (Must have)

• Experience as a software engineer, with a minimum of 2+ years of proven DevOps and ideally DevSecOps experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience of programming languages such as Java, Python, C# or Javascript/Typescript.
• Good experience in developing software, writing unit/integration test cases and test driven development (TDD).
• Strong knowledge in Linux operating systems and commands.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Git.
• Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes (preferably Openshift 4).
• Good communication and written skills.

Skillsets (Good to have)

• Strong understanding of software development best practices including SDLC, Software Configuration and Change Management, Agile, Scrum, Kanban.
• Knowledge and experience with Jenkins, Gitlab, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, Cloudbees CD/RO (or equivalent CD tool), and JIRA.
• Knowledge and experience with Helm 3, Terraform and commonly used AWS services as well as AWS automation/IaC stack (e.g. AWS CLI, CloudFormation, Boto3, CDK).

You will collaborate with various project managers, solutions architect and infra engineers to deliver leading-edge digital solutions and services to meet the business requirements of the maritime community. You are pro-active, self-motivated and resourceful team member with good technical or digital knowledge and possess strong influencing and people handling skills. You are constantly looking at new ways to apply digital technologies to meet business needs and can handle multiple projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, build and maintain the software development pipeline automation with related toolsets to enable CI/CD

2. Design and implement the infrastructure and operating environment for container-based microservices that will meet the agreed high availability, performance and security requirements

3. Utilise native cloud tools to monitor the health and performance of the production and UAT environments, and automate the alerts as part of the incident reporting framework

4. Work closely with development teams and other internal teams to ensure that solutions are designed in accordance to requirements to facilitate scale/performance, security and operability

5. Work closely with on-site Tenant Facility Management (TFM) team to supervise day-to-day cloud operations which include activities such as regular patching and system configuration

6. Support and ensure that the software releases are aligned with MPA's internal software release and deployment process

7. Facilitate and support troubleshooting or root cause analysis of platform issues or incidents

8. Proactively monitor and identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and architecture simplification

9. Participate in project planning and management activities

10. Research and develop prototype using relevant technologies and trends for continuous improvement of the platform

Requirements

1. Background in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or relevant discipline

2. At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in DevOps automation, containerisation and orchestration

3. Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services and related cloud services (e.g. Azure DevOps, hands-on experience using Azure Administrative portal). Certification(s) in Microsoft Azure (e.g. MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or equivalent) and Amazon Web Services will be an advantage.

4. Strong knowledge and experience in software development automation tools

5. Strong scripting skills (e.g. powershell, cli, python)

6. Strong understanding and experience in virtualisation and networking in a container environment such as Kubernetes, Docker

7. Strong understanding of cloud computing/container deployment and management

8. Strong understanding and practice of Agile projects (e.g. SCRUM)

9. Experience in working with Government Commercial Cloud is preferred.

The Site Engineer (Building) is responsible for assisting on the progress of site works and manpower related aspects of the project.

The responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Monitor and supervise Engineers / foremen, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
• Preparation of detailed program for the site team to follow accordingly & completed in time.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies & technical difficulties with Technical team.
• Coordinates between sub-contractors/vendors/internal departments and monitor site manpower / material / equipment demands to meet schedules.
• Liaise with the Consultants on the submission related to structural works and Technical Department.
• Plan all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place.
• Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time as your superior / management deem fit.
