What you will be working on:

• To assist the engineers to sustain and improve all equipment performance indices to meet operations goals.
• Perform shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production.
• Perform scheduled equipment preventive maintenance (PM), calibration, troubleshooting and monitoring of equipment-related problems on a timely basis to minimize equipment downtime.
• Assist engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment.
• Perform task with zero error.
• Prepare consumables/preventive maintenance parts to ensure adequate provision.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module, and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives.
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects.
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety practices in the Fab.

Job Description

• Perform mechanical & thermal analysis and characterization of advanced IC packages
• Build up new mechanical & thermal capabilities with latest simulation and characterization technologies
• Design advanced packages for customers to meet their reliability and manufacturability specifications & needs
• Assess the feasibility of new packaging assembly and process technologies with respect to mechanical and reliability performance
• Conduct IC packaging technology development together with other teams
• Carry out mechanical, thermal and reliability test and correlate with mechanical & thermal simulation for validation

Requirements

Position Summary:

The Quality Control Engineer is an experienced engineer with a good understanding of construction principles, standards and processes. The QC Engineer is responsible to identify the measures and controls required to give a reasonably practical assurance that the quality of the works will be achieved.

The QC Engineer will have a detailed understanding of the project specifications and legal/contract/company quality requirements.

This QC Engineer will be involved in reviewing method statements and preparing inspection and test plans. They will also train and advise project staff on quality matters, monitor the progress of submissions, inspections and tests. They will coordinate the management of defects and nonconformances.

Note: The QC Engineer does is not responsible to undertake frontline inspections or tests, they are there to support the Site Engineers and ensure the Quality Control systems is functioning effectively.
