• Managing daily operations - daily opening and closing of facilities; ensuring facilities and equipment are ready to use.
• Maintenance of facilities - regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure they are in working conditions. Undertaking minor maintenance personally or working with contractors to resolve any faults.
• Provision of logistic support for events on and off SRC - to work with users, event organizers, and provide necessary equipment and facilities support, including coordinating logistic movement.
• Conducting safety assessments of equipment and facilities at SRC - follow up and resolve any matters arising.
• Working and supervising contractors and vendors for supply, repair and maintenance services including handling procurement and financial transactions.
• Assisting in counter services.
• Coordinating facilities reservations and advising users of guidelines on usage.
• Responding to incidents and providing first responder support and coordinating emergency intervention.
• Assisting other OCH offices in maintenance and operation matters when required.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum GCE O level, with 2 years of relevant work experience.

Job Scope:

1. Programme Coordination: Coordinate events and engagements that facilitate meaningful interactions and dialogue between volunteers and participants.

2. Partnership Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community partners, local organisations, schools, and other stakeholders, recognising them as key collaborators in the development and execution of the community programmes.

3. Operations Management: Work with appointed Event Management Company to manage the complex scheduling requirements for the programme – ensuring the successful assignment of suitable volunteers to event timeslots. To also manage all logistical matters to ensure programme effectiveness.

4. Evaluation and Reporting: Monitor the effectiveness of the programme, gather feedback from stakeholders, and prepare reports to assess the impact and success of the initiative. When required, to be on-site at the programme venue to evaluate performance of facilitators and volunteers, and implement suitable interventions should programme quality fall short.

5. Budget Management: Monitor and track budget utilisation of assigned programmes and prepare reports for proper accountability of funds and resources.

Duration: 1 Year (from Feb 2024 onwards)

Working Hours: 9am to 630pm (Mondays to Fridays)

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.

• Preferably possess at least 1 year of experience in community programming, event management, or cultural outreach, preferably in a museum, garden or exhibition setting, with a demonstrated focus on interactions that cater to a diverse range of audience profile.

• Proficiency in project management and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
