A) Job Description:-

1. Gather market information of EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer Rubber) /TPO (Thermoplastic Olefin), conduct market analysis including supply and demand balance.

2. Prepare EPDM/TPO sales strategies including budget preparation, based on the results of market analysis.

3. Proactively study and suggest target sales areas/grade configurations to maximize profits.

4. Establish customer ranking methodologies and study and prepare recommendation of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) utilizing such methodologies.

5. Technical support and advice for EPDM/TPO sales.

6. Prepare for trial sales of EPDM/TPO and take necessary actions in cooperation with related internal departments (logistics, sales, technical support).

7. Gather market information of EPDM/TPO and new grade needs and propose new grade opportunity.

8. Gather and summarize technical knowledge of EPDM/TPO, and utilize it for knowledge transfer to technical support team.

9. Support smooth delivery and sales of EPDM/TPO and maximize profits in cooperation with related internal departments and group companies including the parent company.

10. Support Sales/Technical support/Marketing members with technical inquiries/issues.

B) Skills Required:-

*Master Degree in Chemical Engineering or related science from a reputable university

* Min. 10-15 years of working experience in R&D in Chemical/Plastics industry

*Strong technical knowledge of polymer and polymer molding process as well as other secondary processes. Technical expertise in EPDM/TPO manufacturing process and relevant additive is an advantage.

*Professionally proficient language skills in English and Japanese for regular effective communication with Japanese counterparts and global customers.

*Skillful at presenting and explaining analytical investigation findings and product technical specifications to customers

*Ability to travel extensively

C) Education Details:-

Master Degree in Chemical Engineering or related science from a reputable university

Responsibilities

• Setup and manage the assigned engineering projects
• Communicate with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and provide them with support, on a daily basis
• Oversee overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and prepare regular reports on project status
• Lead and mentor project team, assigning responsibilities
• Collaborate with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Manage engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

Requirements

• Background in Electrical/Electronics or related
• 2+ years' experience of working on a Project Engineer or other relevant position
• Experience in CCTV/Card Access and system installation
• Profound knowledge of industry rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• Experience of working with multiple discipline projects
• Strong project management and supervision skills
