The Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore invites applications for up to three Tenure track (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor) position in urban planning and design. Successful candidates should be actively engaged with urban issues in Asia. They should have interests in developing interdisciplinary research to address pressing challenges to high-density urban environment, especially in Asia. They are strongly encouraged to develop collaborative research in the context of the newly established College of Design and Engineering as well as with industry partners and government agencies within and beyond Singapore.

Successful candidates should also have interests and experience in running urban design and/or planning studios in an interdisciplinary setting. We are especially interested in applicants who are able to deploy the studio as a testbed for questions related to pressing challenges to high-density tropical cities. The candidate should possess a Ph.D. degree in Urban Planning and Design or related fields as well as requisite experience and credentials suitable for full-time appointment in NUS. ADVANCE-ID is jointly funded by the Wellcome Trust and Singapore institutions including the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. The vision of the Network is to improve public health by developing the clinical evidence base for the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant infections. Its mission is to build and sustain a strategic clinical research network focussed on most efficiently delivering locally relevant interventions for drug-resistant infections.

The Network aims to improve and strengthen clinical research capabilities in the region by acting as a platform to develop good principles and practices. It will stabilise capacity and capabilities to mitigate inefficiencies in trial start-up phase and loss of skillset following study closure, as in typical trial setup. The Network will continuously develop its capabilities, quality and efficiency by learning from and collaborating with other clinical trial networks.

The Role

This position will manage and administer leases in a portfolio of Office Commercial properties.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for management of leases which includes preparing and checking lease documents, checking and activation of contracts, preparing and maintaining tenancy schedule.
• Responsible for lease documentation, audit checks on leases and tenants, arrears management, tenant and other related lease management functions.
• Enter information and data into the system and maintain the database, as well as monitor the status of lease documents.
• Execute the arrears management process in collecting payments from tenants of a portfolio of properties, prepare arrears report on a regular interval.
• In charge of tracking security deposit, monitor submission of gross sales turnover reports and audited sales reports by tenants and adjustment of audited sales.
• Covering of administrative duties.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Diploma in relevant courses.
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are essential.
• Experience in SAP will be an added advantage.
• You should be meticulous, diligent, a team player, independent and process initiative. Other key attributes include excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
