Duties of Assistant Manager, Retail Operations:

• Lead and Manage Operations: Direct the team in developing and executing strategies to enhance and maintain asset value across the portfolio.
• Ensure Smooth Operations: Oversee programs to guarantee continuous service for utilities, air conditioning, fire protection, and security. Ensure staff are trained in fire and life safety systems and all maintenance programs are up-to-date.
• Asset Management: Review and implement annual Asset Plans for each property.
• Tenant Management: Handle lease agreements, manage tenant renovations, and maintain strong tenant relationships.

Job description

• Collaborate with business, technology teams, and vendors.
• Understand and analyse the interplay between different systems and business impacts.

• Work closely with squad members, including but not limited to Product Owners, Scrum Master, Business Analysts, Tech Leads, Engineers to identify, capture, plan and deliver changes
• Support the delivery of project funding requests where needed
• Support the program and project stage-gate review process, health checks, providing recommendations for ongoing improvements

Job requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of extensive experience in the insurance industry, particularly in life insurance
• Hands-on experience with Life and Medical Insurance project implementations.
• Experience with cloud data migration projects involving platforms like Azure, Oracle, AWS, etc.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Oracle Fusion, SQL, Java, Python, etc.
• Skilled in Agile methodologies, tools, and delivery, including Confluence and JIRA.
• Proficient in business analysis, developing business requirements, and leading IT development activities for insurance policy administration systems, including CRM systems
• Good analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex data from various sources.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
• Proficient in using business analysis tools, project management software.
• Knowledgeable in End User Testing (UAT) processes.
• Experience in vendor management, risk management, and contract negotiation.
• Proven ability to deliver technology solutions with a deep understanding of business impacts.
• Creative problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
