Job Responsibilities:

Planning and Development

• Provide administrative support and to the Planning & Development Director.
• Support preparatory work for Ops meetings, bilateral meetings and Board meetings.
• Follow up administration matters as necessary including distribution of slides & certificates to centres via (electronic or internal) mail.
• Manage, direct to the relevant departments or centres, reply emails from corporate inquiry email.
• Manage and direct messages on Facebook to the relevant persons. To initiate a generic reply for Facebook messages
• Flag out complaints / negative comments and verify with schools.
• Coordinate activities between school and vendors. eg. photo-taking / yearbook / concert, teaching resources, publications and materials, etc.
• Source for new suppliers with competitive prices.
• Maintain and develop an approved suppliers list.
• To render support to Pedagogy department when required.

New Centres

• Support new school from ordering of inventories, setup of the centre up to the point when the centre is successfully licensed.
• Answer calls from parents regarding waitlist, new school registration.
• Manage PSP list and call parents for new classes before the centre is licensed.
• Assist to set up and manage pre-licensing administration with ECDA and consultants in preparation of pre-licensing inspection, eg. LicenseOne, ONE@ECDA, CMS, etc.
• Render support to AEs and CLs to ensure smooth handover from pre-operation to commencement of centres, for eg. Little Lives, waitlist, ONE@ECDA.
• Obtain quotes from various suppliers and processing required paperwork relevant to the purchasing and receipt of goods.
• Assist with administration, place orders and monitor delivery dates for new centres.
• Raise purchase requisition form for all quotations for new schools’ setups, school projects, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Preferably a polytechnic diploma in any discipline and / or at least 3 years’ experience in an administrative role
• A team player with good interpersonal skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Possess the ability to work well in a dynamic environment
• Able to work independently, multi-task and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with local core distributors by assisting with their communication including but not limited to conducting meetings, coordinating schedule, planning, reports and administrative support.
• Goal management which include generating, analysing and keeping track of distributors action plans.
• Support the distributors by reviewing their progress.
• Organise and support online and offline trainings for local distributors.

Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with civil/structural/architectural technical experience for the position of Project Engineer at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd.  The candidate will work directly with the Project Manager and the subcontractors throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data centre in Asia (The Project).

The candidate will be accountable for ensuring the work required, such as submittals, RFI’s, coordination drawings, updating documents, etc, are complete, ready and approved for the CSA subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on managing the CSA subcontractors' field operations and installation details for a large complex data center project, having stringent technical requirements.  

It is expected that the candidate will be a very detail-oriented individual with previous experience working as a CSA project engineer on data centre projects and/or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands-on” work coordinating approved design documents and ensuring installed work in the field complies with such documents.  The candidate must have robust Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. team, and subcontractors of all tiers and vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

Responsibilities:

• Represent Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. in the utmost professional manner while constantly embracing honesty, integrity, and truth
• Comply with Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. anti-graft, non-bribery requirements
• Work intensively with the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. BIM team to coordinate the CSA trade work with other trades
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, structural systems interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule
• Facilitate problem-solving, as may arise, between structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical subcontractors during construction
• Work closely with the CSA Project Manager to lead the subcontractor installation drawing approval process between the subcontractor, Resident Engineer, Resident Technical Officer, Accredited Checker, and the Local Authority having Jurisdiction, and Assist in the receipt and review of all Structural submissions
• Log and post all changes and as-built information on field drawings. Provide this information to the BIM team so it can be incorporated into the final virtual model.
  Ensure all information is current and communicated with the project team.
• Interface with the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) manager for all client-provided equipment
• Liaise with the engineering consultant, supervisory engineers, inspectors and relevant staff
• Implement the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. cloud-based QA/QC program for the CSA scope of work
• Ensure that subcontractors adhere to relevant quality documentation/records
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of equipment
