Job Responsibilities:

• Onboarding New Investors:Identify and onboard new accredited investors, including individuals and corporations, to subscribe to the sub-fund.
  
• Distribution Channel Development:Identify and develop new distribution channels to market sub-funds effectively to accredited investors.
  
• Strategic Growth Initiatives:Propose and evaluate potential strategies and opportunities to launch new sub-funds.
  

Requirements:

• Proven track record of strong monthly subscriptions in unit trust or mutual funds.
• Experience in dealing with accredited investors.
• Prior experience as an investment banker, priority banker, or senior relationship manager.

Responsibilities:

• Provides trend analysis and alternative workaround strategies to ensure schedule compliance;
• Generating high-quality project reports and presentations as required by key stakeholders including joint venture partners;
• Leading and managing an effective planning function, supporting projects and operations, to deliver the long term business objectives;
• Responsible for integrating all delivery partner, strategic supplier and bulk material schedules;
• Understanding the overall project strategy and converting this into a strategic plan for the planning function;
• Coordinating schedule risk analysis of internally generated and contractor generated schedules.

Requirements:

• Stakeholder management skills to work with joint venture partners, project teams and contractors;

Position Overview:

Summary

BPS Associate Accountant fulfils an integral transactional and reporting function in Deloitte’s Business Process Solutions (“BPS”). This role touches all aspects of finance function including GST compliance, documentation of process improvements and other special projects as needed. This position will report to the BPS Senior / BPS Manager.

Job Purpose:

Provide support on recording accounting transactions, and generating timely financial reports including the GST reporting process. Prepare online bank payments and provide cash flow projections to our clients by coordinating with relevant contacts and maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts. Provide support to the BPS Manager, the other members of the BPS accounting team and the client.

Responsibilities may include:

• Obtain and file accounting related documents on a timely manner and highlight any improvements to the data collection process as necessary

• Key in data in the accounting system and maintain the general ledger accounts for clients

• Preparing monthly accruals, prepayment and other manual journal entries and reconciling accounts monthly

• Accounts receivable – assisting with daily/weekly/monthly invoicing

• Payment processing and monitoring payables

• Be Seconded to client offices to assist in assisting the accounting process, when necessary

• Compile and provide financial or transactional information or data as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a comparable professional qualification with 1 year or more experience in a similar accounting related role

• Self-starter, organized, attention to detail, deadline oriented, hands-on.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment on several projects.

• Some experience with ERP systems in the past – Xero/ MS Navision / SAP is a plus.

• Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal pressures.

• Knowledge of finance, accounting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

• MS Office experience required including extensive Excel knowledge.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
