Resopnsibilities

• Responsible for planning, execution and supervision of all facilities management and operation activities.
• Manage term contractors and lead a team of technical officers and technicians in facilities operation, troubleshooting, preventive and breakdown maintenance works.
• Provide feasible solution and co-ordinate with owners, contractors/vendors and users on engineering functional requirements and to ensure objectives are achieved.
• Responsible for project costs control, maintaining quality service standards and related documentation works.

Requirements

• Possess a recognized Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Building Services (or any other related field).
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management and related field.
• Self-driven, resourceful, able to multi-task and a good team player.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assignments and manage operation with good leadership attributes.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Maintain, manage, and ensure all as-built drawings are kept up to date, reflecting any changes made on-site.
• Verify the accuracy of all drawings by cross-checking against on-site conditions.
• Create detailed, schematic, and layout drawings for various building components and systems, including architectural elements, mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection/detection services, using AutoCAD or other recognised drafting software.
• Incorporate standard details, design specifications, and technical data into drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure drawings align with project goals and timelines.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• Diploma or degree in a relevant discipline, such as Architecture, Engineering, or Building Design.
• A minimum of three years’ experience working on building projects, particularly in the preparation of technical drawings.
• Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, CADWorks, or equivalent. Prior experience in building management or facilities maintenance is highly advantageous.
• Strong ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Foster strong client relationships to build trust and ensure long-term partnerships.

• Liaise and coordinate effectively with external agencies on new initiatives, as well as major repair and maintenance projects.
• Prepare detailed tender documents, including technical specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Plan, manage, and oversee the execution of rectification works, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial control.
• Serve as the designated Fire Safety Manager, overseeing fire safety compliance and preparedness.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building, or a related field.
• Certification as a Fire Safety Manager (FSM) is highly desirable.
• At least 4 years of proven experience in facilities management or building maintenance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
