What will you do?

As a Business Analyst, you will serve as a vital bridge between external stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment between business needs and technology solutions.

Your role involves understanding and analysing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and facilitating the successful implementation of solutions that meet both external and internal expectations.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
• Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to gather detailed information about business processes and needs.
• Analyse and translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.

Solution Design and Implementation:

• Work with Design & Technical teams to design and validate solutions that meet business requirements.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure that solutions are delivered as intended.
• Support the implementation of new systems and processes, including user training and change management.

Project Management Support:

• Assist in project planning, tracking, and reporting activities, ensuring alignment between external expectations and internal capabilities.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, project managers, and development teams.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that may arise.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyse data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Develop and deliver reports and presentations that provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Create and maintain documentation of business processes, systems, and workflows.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements that benefit both external stakeholders and internal operations.

What are we looking for?

• Good understanding of IT systems, databases, and software development processes.
• Development experience or knowledge of programming languages and concepts.
• Experience with software and tools used for business analysis and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to facilitate collaboration between external and internal parties.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., UML, BPMN, wireframing).
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) is desirable.
• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
• CBAP or PMI-BA is a plus.

What will you do?

• Manage IT projects from award of tender to delivery and maintenance, while keeping time, quality and costs constraints under control
• Develop overall execution plan & ensure the roles and responsibilities, deliverables and schedule are clearly communicated to the team members and customers
• Manage development phases of the project, i.e. plan, assign and track progress of development
• Document project specifications and design and implement system based on requirements gathered
• Maintain excellent client relationship with the customer
• Conform to best-practice Project Management processes and documentation
• Technical Presales
• Engage customers in the study and analysis of their requirements and customise solutions according to their needs

• Oversee the setup and maintenance of demo sites and systems from ground up.

What are we looking for?

• At least 5 years of IT Application PM experience in recent years.

• Recent relevant experience in Vendor and Contract Management, Change Management / Service Request Management, Problem/ Incident Management.
• Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills.

It will be advantageous if you have:

• Relevant experience in supporting Government Projects.
• Exposure in managing project budget, timeline as well as scope.
• Experience in supporting applications operations.

• Manage Customer Requests:

  First point of contact for customers regarding Sales Support requests:

• • Handle information, documentation, questionnaires, enter CRM cases regulatory/quality requests and follow up including reminders.
  • Handle incoming communication (telephone calls, mails, requests, …), forward messages to the right people according to priorities, secure follow-up and check deadlines.
  • Interact with internal functions at local and HQ level to ensure required support.

The Job

1. Clear understanding the scope of the project, the changes associated and support the Project Manager in impact assessment. Clearly document the rationale for projects that are approved.
2. For project where there is an impact, play a governance role in ensuring that the design (in terms of the level of information required from source to core processing) is aligned with the data flow strategy.
3. Collate and rationalise all stakeholders’ requirements and walkthrough these requirements with team.
4. Actively partnering with the team in the design process to ensure that the business solutions being implemented are aligned to business strategy: - achieve cost savings, design for no operations, designed for low maintenance.
5. Create testing strategy, test script, and formulate sign-off/success criteria to stakeholders and to get concurrence on.
6. Prepare proper documentation on the data flow, design, business solutioning and testing approach in accordance with predefined template.
7. Assist Project Manager for preparing in presentation slides.
8. Collate and manage all the details regarding the application for the assigned business vertical information could span from details of interfacing systems where data is created, how data is being sent, how application data is being stored and used, etc.
