Job Role Description

The Project Resource Supervisor is responsible for enhancing site conditions across multiple project locations by implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) guidelines. This role involves overseeing project resources, applying digital tracking tools, ensuring compliance with sustainability and green initiatives, and optimizing project efficiency through effective supervision and resource allocation. The role requires regular travel to project sites and hands-on management.

Reports to: Project Resource Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management & Improvement:

• Supervise and improve project site conditions in alignment with ESG standards.

• Implement green initiatives to enhance environmental sustainability across sites.

• Monitor and evaluate site practices to ensure compliance with ESG policies and safety regulations.

• Digitalisation & Tracking:

• Utilize digital tools to track project resources, site progress, and logistics efficiently.

• Generate and maintain accurate project records to ensure transparent tracking of resource allocation and site improvements.

Resource Supervision:

• Manage and coordinate on-site resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and provide real-time support and solutions.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize resource utilization across multiple sites.

Requirements:

• Minimum educational qualification of ITE graduates.

• Class 3 driving license

• Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.

a) PCs to manage the day-to-day works assigned to the RTOs and STOs and maintain the records of their respective deployment.

b) Provide administrative support on all matters relating to the Contract including the processing of monthly progress claim payment.

c) Prepare the operations plan (template of which will be provided by the Board later) to facilitate the shutdown of watermains for connection of the newly laid watermains and capping of the watermains to be abandoned and submit for the Board’s approval 2 weeks prior to the estimated date of the linkup. The PC shall make the necessary amendments to the operations plan as requested by the Board, where necessary.

d) Monitor the appointed third-party Contractor’s site progress, performance and maintain a site record to keep track of site progression related to the watermains diversion and pipe laying works.

e) Assist to verify documentation submissions submitted by the appointed third-party Contractor to ensure compliance to the Board’s Specifications.

f) Work closely with the STO to verify the final as-built submission by the appointed third-party Contractor to ensure that the pipe alignment corresponds to the site alignment and the data are properly captured in the WNet (used by PUB to capture the coordinates of the pipe alignment) document.

g) Assist in monitoring all the required documents submission – to facilitate the handover of the complete rectification works, that are carried out by the appointed third-party Contractor.

h) The PC shall be assigned any other administrative works by the Board from time to time as may be specified.
