As Business Development Manager you will be responsible to develop the Site in Singapore to create better utilization and cost efficiency of the assets by supporting, acquiring and leading Site enhancement projects within own site and external users.

This is a full time role for a Business Development located in Woodlands Link. Our client manufactures health, beauty, food, and household products and your role focuses on supporting the recruitment and development of new Business Builders and Sales Leaders to drive the company’s growth and accelerate sales. It involves working closely with these leaders to help them achieve the company's objectives in both sales and recruitment, while also aiding in the expansion of existing markets and the development of new ones. Additionally, the role requires participation in the planning, coordination, and implementation of recruitment-related activities, such as rallies, seminars, meetings, training, and conventions. Travel to organize and assist in these events is a key part of the job. Effective communication with Business Builders is essential, ensuring they receive vital operational updates and new company developments. Job Scope:

• Support after-sales project order entry and order management
• Ensure customer expectation is met
• Attend off-site expediting/ inspection meetings whenever necessary
• Prepare/ Review expediting documents for status progress updates
• Take up ownership of orders delivery result
• Work with QA to resolve vendor’s quality issues and support after sales warranty activities

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor in Engineering with 3 years’ experience, or similar and/or extensive relevant experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and industrial plants
• Experience with project expediting, supply and delivery with a sound understanding of expediting and inspection functions. Additional documentation experience will be an advantage
• Solid understanding of industry practices and ability to develop expediting plans
• Demonstrated technical ability in reading PO, technical specifications and data requirements
• Understand shipment incoterms and facilitating process

Responsibilities:

• Report to Project Director on project management, site management, and risk control to achieve project goals.
• Handle construction planning, scheduling, baseline programs, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project schedules and report progress according to the baseline program.
• Assist PD in preparing project reports (e.g., monthly reports, VO management, EOT assessments).
• Liaise with clients, authorities, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on project matters, providing technical and non-technical solutions.
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure contractual compliance and timely completion.
• Support the Contracts Department with tenders, including drawings, method statements, proposals, and claims preparation.
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure progress remains on schedule.
• Oversee quality control, safety, and EHS practices on-site, identifying high-risk activities and approving method statements.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma and above in Civil Engineering or equivalents.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
