Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
· Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.
· Serve as a Scrum Master for Agile development teams, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
· Plan and schedule project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
· Track and report on project progress, ensuring the team meets its objectives and key results (OKRs).
· Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
· Lead Agile ceremonies, including Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, Sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
· Foster an Agile mindset within the team, promoting continuous improvement and collaboration.
· Ensure the development team follows Scrum principles and remains focused on delivering value.
· Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
· Coach and mentor team members on Agile practices and behaviors.
· Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Project Managers to resolve dependencies and ensure overall program success.
· Participate in Scrum of Scrums and program increment planning as needed.
· Stay current with industry best practices, Agile methodologies, and emerging trends.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
· Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or similar Agile certification is preferred.
· In-depth knowledge of Agile frameworks and principles, including Scrum and Kanban.
· Experience using Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar tools).
· Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Exceptional communication, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
· Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Familiarity with software development practices, SDLC, and Agile engineering best practices.
· Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD principles is a plus.
· Results-driven and able to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
· Previous experience working in a technology-driven company or startup is a strong advantage.
