• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-4 years as a Scrum Master or Product Manager, with specific experience in trading applications within an investment banking environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure OHSAS compliance for School of Life Sciences, upkeep lab cleanliness and daily waste disposal
• Track and report stock and inventory of supplies and reagents required for the labs and replenish low supplies
• Timely procurement of all necessary chemicals, biological tools and general consumables
• Perform successful trial runs for all practical sessions
• Ensure complete and timely setups and running of all laboratory sessions for the School of Life Sciences
• Arrange for all scheduled equipment calibration/ servicing
• Ensure maintenance of all necessary laboratory documentation and arrange for license renewals
• Arrange, schedule and manage lab volunteers throughout the academic year
• Liaise with fellow lab staff, lecturers, university partners and any other external parties on matters pertaining to materials required for each module's lab requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences with at least 1 to 2 years of technical experience in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Lab work

1. AUTHORITY

•Monitor and retain the overall implementation of the SMS within the Fleet Teams and the assigned fleet.

2. RESPONSIBILITY

•Ensure the safe operation of the assigned fleet in compliance with the Company requirements as well as with existing international Rules and Regulations

•Provide a link between the Company and those on board of the assigned fleet

the Company’s QHSE policies

the Company’s management system tools such as the SMS

•Being an expert in the application of the company QM – as such and based on the CAPA(Corrective & Preventive Action) approach continuously review the SMS for improvements and its proper utilization

•conduct regular vessel visits for audits & trainings with the focus on raising the awareness of the crew in the proper application of the standards as defined in the SMS

•conduct investigations on incidents and off-track performance and evaluate corrective / preventive actions to be implemented as well as to follow-up on agreed initiatives

•trigger and participate in the Management of Change process based on the investigation results

•communicate conclusions of off-track performance (PSC, incidents of whatever type) to and within all existing internal and external reporting & vetting platforms (e.g. Rightship, GLSM, QHSE database) for proper closing out and reflection within databases tracking the Company / vessel performance

•handling of Security matters for the assigned fleet

•monitor fleet performance on navigational aspects and evaluate off-track performance incl.corrective / preventive actions to be implemented

•liaising internally with all Departments on operational matters

•Act as Company Security Officer (CSO) and plan ISPS audits for designated fleet/vessels within the required timescales. Monitor required reporting of entries into HRA/War risk areas and Armed Guards as required.member of the Emergency Response team

•Participate in Customer meetings

Roles & Responsibilities:
