Roles & Responsibilities

• Supporting operation in the assigned process unit in DCS panel
• Handling day-to-day duties and plant troubleshooting
• Conducting field logging, routine sampling, and plant testing work

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and maintaining servers and supporting fixtures and infrastructure in Data Centers located within Asia Pacific region. In this role you will focus on developing and sustaining solutions through communication and coordination with Apple Data Center teams and Business Groups to help deliver a solid infrastructure and services to meet global business objectives. Description

You will help complete projects in the deployment and maintenance of compute servers, including cabling infrastructure and DCIM elements. You will provide DC incident management and change control to prevent and/or manage failure scenarios leading to the recovery of services with improvement plans to mitigate future occurrence. A proven track record in vendor management for infrastructure expansion, enforce compliance with technical specifications and quality standards is also needed. You will lead material movements with Engineers, Project Managers and/or Customer Business teams on executing movements within required delivery timelines. Ensure required actions are implemented in Apple systems to facilitate job function, identify issues and perform Root Cause Analysis to prevent future operational impact.

Minimum Qualifications

• Expertise with data center operational tasks, including rack sizing, construction, equipment installation and decommissioning. Willing to do hands-on activities.
• Hands-on experience with various copper and fiber cabling structures, cable infrastructure design and labeling methodology.
• Expertise with break-fix and incident management.
• Experience with DCIM (Data Centre Infrastructure Management) tools. Hands-on operations in securing and monitoring equipment with enterprise level management tools.
• Possesses a global perspective with the ability to understand and work effectively in a culturally diverse organization
• The proven ability to manage key stakeholder interests while at the same time managing conflicting priorities and business interests.

What the day will look like

The Senior Application Developer is principally responsible for the development and delivery of Reinsurance Analytics applications to the user base. Responsible for crafting architecturally sound solutions, delivering detailed technical design, development planning and implementation of new features for globally used applications specifically focused on the client facing activities of Aon's Reinsurance Analytics Solutions business. These activities involved include, but not limited to, spatial development, UI/UX implementation, and other analytical solutions. • Lead a project design team from inception to delivery of hyperscale data centres with related activities for new builds and fit out projects
• Liaise with and support the Development Manager and senior management on client and customer proposals to ensure that there is seamless transition once projects are implemented

As a Data Center Design Manager you will be part of a global engineering leadership team, comprised of highly effective Architects, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Control Engineers. AWS drives the engineering on our capacity delivery projects. This unique vantage point allows the Design Managers to maintain a close connection with project details and drive project outcomes. You will have impact on the design direction and ability to improve design delivery for all APAC projects, while establishing design procedures and protocols for the development of future systems. This role is an opportunity to collaborate with many facets of the AWS organization, external engineering resources and regulatory agencies.
