This administrative role will be part of the team to support the principal investigators in managing all activities related to the CyberSG R&D Programme Office (CRPO) operations. The incumbent will have to ensure compliance with the University and funding agencies guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Research Team//Executive Director in managing the manpower activities via Research Information SystEm (RISE) Activities include reviewing manpower variations, view/add/modify manpower expenditure in RISE
• Coordinate with various parties on manpower request and ensure that the required documents are completed for execution.
• Close follow up with the on the approval process and ensure prompt closure of any task
• Assist in checking for budget sufficiency for various manpower charges such as staff award, prorating of Bonus, etc.
• Prepare manpower listing for claims or audit on quarterly basis
• Track manpower expenditure utilisation for management reporting and oversee to projects’ healthy spending, and follow-up where necessary
• Provide ad-hoc advice on manpower related queries
• Assist in any events/meetings whenever required
• In charge of procurement and finance related tasks pertaining to centre operations
• In charge of PDPA and OSHE matters for the centre
• Supports the directors in general administrative duties as and when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Preferably 1 year or more in research-related or higher education industry working experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Acrobat applications, and knowledge of research project management is an advantage
• Meticulous, organized, and proactive
• Good team player with strong sense of ownership
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Handling direct sales to Original Manufacturer, Over the Counter in the region

• Prepare monthly forecast for sales trend

• Industry market research of cycling trends in the assigned country

• Product analysis to identify new products to be introduced to the customers

• Maintain close relationship with customers on hand

• Provide support for events

• Other Ad Hoc Projects assigned

Job Requirements:

· Minimum Diploma in Business / Engineering / related fields

· Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Words, PPT) is preferred

· Ability to communicate effectively

· Prior sales experience would be advantageous

· Able to travel overseas if needed

· Able to work overtime / on weekend to provide events support

The University's new Student Management System (SMS) program manages the complete student lifecycle from attracting new talent, through all day-to-day activities, and on to graduation. This system, to be implemented progressively, will support our population of more than 35,000 students.

This role reports to the SMS Head and will drive the adoption and utilization of the newly implemented system and look at continuous improvement of capabilities or functionalities as required by the changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Play the role of business analyst, to gather new business requirement or change requests and work with NTU’s IT team to explore new processes or systems/system configurations to meet the changing business needs.
• Lead and facilitate discussions with key stakeholders to scope projects and delivery plan for new functionalities or requirements to continuously enhance the SMS.
• Develop plans, policies and procedures to govern system, data, processes, security and user access.
• Develop strategies and tactics to drive adoption and utilization of systems and processes by business users.
• Develop strategies and tactics to drive the achievement of service level agreements (SLAs) via system usage and data.
• Identify gaps and resolve issues by actively engaging business users.
• Partner system vendors and NTU’s IT team to identify and implement solutions.
• Continue to develop system capability in reporting, data analytics to support business management, decisions, and modelling.
• Ensure proper documentation of functional specifications and processes.
• Plan and manage timeline to ensure projects are delivered on time.
• Develop and implement change management and communication activities to prep business users to adopt to the new processes or systems, which would include the development of system documentation, user guides, User Acceptance Tests and training for users at each phase of implementation/enhancement.
• Support organizational redesign in Colleges/Schools for student management/administration.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in any related field from a recognized University.
• At least 8 to 10 years of business analyst or project management experience, and preferably in the tertiary education sector.
• Strong studentship management background, with understanding or hands-on experience in a student management system preferably.
• Experience in planning and implementing change management activities will be an advantage.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task with an eye for details in planning and implementation.
• Ability to drive results and achieve outcomes.
• Preferably with CITPM / PMP / PRINCE2 certification.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and RPA tools such as UiPath/Power BI would be advantageous.

Contract Duration: 11 months

Salary: up to $14.20/hr

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, office hours

Job Duties:

• Assist in Food sampling preparation
• Manage acid/chemical wastes and sample disposal after completion of testing
• Support work for food safety testing and method development

Requirements:

• Minimum diploma in Applied Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Sciences, or other related scientific fields
• Prior experience with laboratory quality system is an added advantage
