About the Third Party Risk Management Specialist - APAC

Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Specialist - APAC is the intermediate level role in Wise’s Third party Risk management. This individual is responsible for ensuring the outsourcing activities comply with relevant outsourcing regulations and laws, align with internal policies and procedures, and are effectively governed to minimise risk exposure in the regional level. The role involves coordinating TPRM efforts globally, supporting regional stakeholders teams, coordinating audit finding and other gaps, and facilitating reporting activities in the APAC region.

Your Role

In this role, you will be responsible for executing the People and Culture plan for the Asia Pacific region aligned to our global People and Culture strategy. This is a regional position with responsibility to execute and deliver a consistent approach across all group companies within the Asia Pacific region; leading and implementing strategic and tactical initiatives across the region with regard to People and Culture; including Talent Acquisition and Management, HR Operations including Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, Talent Development and Culture and Values. • Partner with the CoB Program Management and Sector & Region Leads on the communication strategy and materials (e.g. town halls, VOE, committee meetings).
• Provide program oversight of the CoB tactical and strategic deliverables ensuring quality, efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead and coordinate a wide range of activities at the direction of the CoB Head.
• Partnering with the CoB leadership team to develop and maintain a calendar of activities.
• Collaborate, plan and organize with and through people to gather information from across the organization and external committees to report and make business recommendations.
• Facilitates a process to ensure that business continuity plans are viable, executable, implemented and tested.
• Promotes business continuity awareness and education.
• Identify gaps in performance and associated risks, recommend corrective actions and partner with stakeholders and management to develop Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in COB (Continuity of Business) & Crisis Management
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills are required to document policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
• Must be able to effectively interact with senior management and persuasiveness to solicit management and staff cooperation.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
