Position description

There is an expectation that all Primary Teachers behave in a professional and positive manner and represent role models within the school. They will be familiar with NPSI policies and procedures and will always actively promote and reinforce the NPSI Vision and Mission.

In addition to pastoral duties, the class teacher is responsible for curating, delivering, and assessing the curriculum across the Primary School, as assigned by the Principal, and timetabled by the school. Pastoral Care

• The teacher should report any Additional Needs, Child Protection or Safeguarding concerns immediately to their line manager or the designated school officer and maintain accurate records of concerns in the child’s anecdotal notes

Performance Management and Professional Development

• The teacher will participate in a mid-term and end of year performance appraisal to assess their performance

Other Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in classroom and engagement of children
