As a Knowledge Analyst (KA) In a Client Focused role within BCG's Energy Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized knowledge assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data, and related expertise, etc.). The Senior GCC Analyst provides front-line support to customers of CME Group for traded cash FX markets and provides relevant investigation and analysis for any major outages to management and other business stakeholders. In this role, the Senior GCC Analyst works regularly in a customer facing capacity to deliver informational assistance via telephone and electronic means. The analyst will need to be able understand the FX cash aspect of support and business to facilitate troubleshooting for any critical trading and connectivity issue on our platform.

For this role the analyst will have a passion for solving problems and delivering excellent customer service. The candidate will deliver advanced market and technical assistance for front-end trading platforms, market data and match engine functionality.

Successful candidates will possess a majority of the below qualification, experiences and be comfortable with the responsibilities.

Responsibilities will include and not be limited to the following:

• Develop ad-hoc queries and perform complex data analysis to create data driven solutions to support or change policy, process procedures and technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's in information systems, computer science a related field from a recognized university
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in single bank or multi-banks eTrading platforms. Previous experience with vendors is welcome
• Experience with leading industry charting/news platforms and front ends, such as Bloomberg, Trading Technologies and Eikon Refinitiv
• Good understanding in foreign exchange modules with emphasis on Spot FX and NDFs (Outright and Swaps is a bonus)
• Good grasp of full trade life cycle from execution to front and back office (STP/Murex/MT300) processing
• Exposure to Kibana/Monitoring dashboards
• Analyst will support Japanese customers. High proficiency in the Japanese language is preferred.

Experience:

• Previous experience within trading, technical support, and market analysis

Job Responsibilities:

The Analyst role within the market risk management department (Market risk analytics team) will be in charge of performing market risk/counterparty credit risk analysis, monitor market risk activities undertaken by Global Markets (Trading and Treasury), counterparty credit risk activities undertaken by Global Markets (Trading and Sales) and participating UAT in various projects, e.g. Potential Future Exposure project, IRRBB, benchmark/Libor Transition project. The scope of products spans interest rate derivatives (including Interest Rate Options) and FX derivatives (including FX Options).

[Market Risk]

• Prepare daily, monthly and other periodic risk reports and provide PnL & risk analysis for the bank’s trading and treasury portfolio for branches in Asia and Oceania;
• Provide analysis of market risk exposures, VaR;
• Provide market risk stress testing and analysis for branches in Asia and Oceania;
• Provide market risk KRI monitoring;
• Provide daily VaR back-testing;
• Prepare Singapore/Regional ALM/MRM Committee material and provide market risk commentary;
• Support Manager to conduct risk limit review;
• Monitor, investigate and report risk limit excesses;
• Provide Volcker rule metrics reporting and analysis;

• To participate UAT for Potential Future Exposure (PFE) project, e.g. run PFE simulation, calibration, backtesting, stress testing and prepare the model document
• To participate the development and maintenance of technical EUC tools for example IRRBB calculation
• To participate the development and implementation of Wrong-way risk
• To participate the implementation of CVA stress testing
• Support senior staffs/participate in other various projects e.g. Benchmark/Libor transition etc.
• Support Head Office’s initiatives, middle office systems implementation in Singapore and other regional branches;

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in financial engineering, mathematics, statistics, quantitative finance, Data management, economics or in quantitative related fields
• At least 1 year of working experience in market risk related jobs, such as Market Risk Management / Product control / Counterparty Credit Risk / Global Markets / Treasury
• Good knowledge of banking and derivatives products
• Good Experience in using Python, Power Query, Tableau, Excel with VBA skills
• Good initiative and inter-personal skills, ability to work efficiently in a team and independently.
• Good communication skills (both verbal & writing) with colleagues in Singapore and regional branch.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Perform trade verifications to ensure accuracy of booking requests
• Generate and match trade confirmations according to the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) templates
• Process FX transactions settlement, provide analytic input for traders and aid in review of derivative products in a timely manner.
