1. Review companies’ ESG assessment, and other data and documentation about their social and environmental performance, accurately and efficiently within the process for certification.
2. Interact with the companies (CEO/Founder or a sustainability project manager) at going through the certification or re-certification process; providing quality customer service, and managing communications related to the standards and certification.
3. Guide companies through the companies’ legal framework and legal requirement for certification.
4. Update records in real-time in the ESG assessment app and in Salesforce.
5. Manage account pipeline and project timelines for 20+ companies each in the certification process.
6. Provide concrete suggestions for companies to improve their ESG impact, when applicable.
7. Provide basic technical support to companies using the ESG assessment online tool.
8. Drafts proposals for recommendations
9. You shall perform such other services as are customarily performed by one holding such a position

Job Skill and Qualification

• 2-3 years’ experience in business, preferably in a role with an external-facing responsibility like business development, public relations etc.
• Educational or experiential knowledge of Business, and preferably Sustainability, Social Sciences or Environmental Studies.
• Have an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Manage work in respect of tight deadlines & multi-tasking, handling several projects at any one time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Those who speak Spanish, Portuguese, and French in addition to English being the first language medium.

Main Duties

• Perform assessment on periodic reviews or trigger event reviews of existing relationships including but not limited to higher risk relationships. This includes reviewing the adequacy of source of wealth (SOW) corroboration, performing high level transaction review, identifying incremental AML or reputational risk via refreshed name screening.
• Conduct investigations on suspicious transactions/ activities surfaced during periodic review and prepare STR reports to the STRO.
• Liaise with relationship managers/ business compliance managers for issues and deficiencies identified during periodic review.
• Review and approve requests from Front Office to temporarily unblock accounts which are placed on enhanced monitoring.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports to Senior Management on periodic review statistics in Singapore.

Requirements

• PB KYC exp including name screening, transaction review exp. (at least 3-4 years of AML experience (KYC review experience) in a private banking environment in Singapore.)
• Risk assessment exp.
• SOW corroboration exp. (if possible)
• University degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent, or higher education.
• Professional certifications such as ACAMs or ICA would be an added advantage.
