Job Description:
- Direct the efforts of the product/process engineering function, including supervision of the engineers, setting up the NPI process, procedures and reports. Provides project and team leadership for the Process Engineering Group and also will be responsible for evaluating, monitoring and providing high level guidance and leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of product/process engineers to support complex server/storage system CTO/BTO operations.
- Design and develop technical procedures for production and customers.
- Provide technical support to Engineers/Technicians and customers to solve complex problems
- Lead and/or support automation and kaizen projects in production line
- Provide technical documents written for product/process support and perform changes to the documents, provide training to production and review the effectiveness for enhancement.
- Manages and coordinates activities of Product/Process Engineering Team, including periodically process compliance internal audit and customer audit, and drive for proper closure and effective continuous improvement.
- Support 5S and lean initiatives.
- Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read and correlate schematic diagrams and layout drawings.
- Familiar with PDM and BOM structure
- Good knowledge in SAP, 8D, PDCA and PFMEA
- Excellent in analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must be a team player and highly motivated.
- Flexibility and ability to change priorities.
- Ability to multi-task with strong sense of urgency; ability to meet deadlines.
Experience/Education
- Bachelor degree in in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 5-year experience in manufacturing engineering or relevant field
- Prefer to have server/storage product top level assembly experience
