The role plays a critical role in the technical sales process by providing expertise and support to customers. You will work closely with both the sales team and the engineering team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions. Reporting to the Director of Sales, Domestic, you will lead our engineering department and be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and improvement of existing service levels that will serve our clients and business well. You will provide engineering support for Industrial and Automotive aftermarket businesses and direct OEM customers, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitment, and goals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Act as resident technological expert advisor for our products and liaison between customers and the engineering team, providing input on product enhancements, customization requests, and bug reports
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop technical solutions that meet those needs
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for product improvement and development based on customer feedback and market trends
• Provide engineering support and services to regional offices, distribution channels, OEMS and end-user
• Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, including system design, cost estimations, and project timelines.
• Conduct product presentations and practical training seminars for internal staff as well as customers, channels, management, and others
• Conduct feasibility studies and perform technical analysis to evaluate the compatibility of products with customer requirements.
• Provide technical support to customers during pre-sales and post-sales stages, including troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and answering product-related questions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights and recommendations to customers.

Working with the development team, you will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, testing, and delivery of the software solution for an Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system or a high volume and performance-intensive back office of an AFC system.

The activities required to be performed shall include the following:

• Requirements gathering;
• Design, development, and maintenance of the software;
• Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycles such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Documents, Design Specification, Interface Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Training Manual, and other documents as required in the standard adopted by the Authority;
