Job Scope :

- Inspect outgoing parts and incoming sub-contracted parts according to established procedure / specification of inspection and carry out Incoming Process Inspection.

Immediate 1 Yr Project assignment for Singaporean to join as Senior Network Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Network engineer who is highly proficient with Network product in Cloud infrastructure, to manage the daily operations and deliver the services within SLA. The Network engineer will support the capability of the Cloud platforms to deliver a cost effective and sustained level of availability to meet customers’ requirements. Incorporate continuous improvement process in operations through constant monitoring, reporting, evaluating and improving the operation metrics. The Network Engineer will need to work closely with the different members of the team to enhance, automate and operate the existing cloud infrastructure.

1. Operate, maintain, and manage the Cloud infrastructure
2. Support the management of Event, Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, and other ITSM activities
3. Troubleshoot and resolve incident escalated by internal team of Technical support engineers fronting the customers
4. Escalate incident to external parties, work with external parties, and track status till resolved
5. Perform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions to resolve problems
6. Implement Change requests and ensure CMDB is updated
7. Review, evaluate software patches, bug-fix updates and security patches
8. Support Quality Assurance Testing
9. Support Business Continuity Plan
10. Create, update and maintain scripts needed to support the management of Infrastructure
11. Develop, review and update (at least half-yearly) the SOPs to operate and maintain the infrastructure
12. Maintain up-to-date documentation, configuration information and status of all the infrastructure

The ideal candidate should be / possess:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in computer science related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experiences in managing and operating cloud infrastructure
• Certified in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Possess good communications skills to service and resolve customer incidents and issues.
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Proven track records in work performance.
• Sound knowledge in practising ITIL methodologies.
• Sound product knowledge and troubleshooting skills in 2 or 3 cores skills below will be an added advantage

• Good Team Player, quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision
• Managing Government agency customers which have very high expectation on the service availability and response time.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chiller systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Educate clients on proper operation and maintenance practices.
• Prepare detailed service reports and recommendations.
• Oversee commissioning of new chiller installations.
• Collaborate with agents, customers, and contractors to ensure system performance.
• Foster teamwork and shared problem-solving with contractors.
• Adhere to safety protocols and conduct safety briefings.
• Work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
• Travel to client sites and respond to chiller breakdown calls during standby shifts.

Requirement

• Min. Degree in Mechanical / Degree
• Has Min 3 years of experience in HVAC or chiller systems
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in chiller systems.
• Knowledge of routine maintenance and commissioning processes for chiller systems.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to HVAC systems.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and effectively address client inquiries and concerns.
• Ability to collaborate with agents, customers, and contractors to ensure system performance and compliance.
