• Review and Process Loan Applications under Hire Purchase, Credit Loans and other loan products which involves meticulously reviewing loan applications, verifying information provided by applicants, and assessing their creditworthiness.

Community relations are responsible for managing all community development initiatives throughout Vanguard. This role plans, develop and implement programs to promote community awareness.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize communications strategies during CEE meetings and contribute ideas for internal Vanguard events
• Lead or support to build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, grassroots, schools and volunteers as well as local community leaders
• Effectively develop full range of written materials such as contributed articles and write-ups, CEO speeches, marketing materials and reports.
• Work with healthcare institutions such as MOH, MOHH and AIC on seeking clearance on articles and write-ups
• Work with departments to develop communications / marketing collaterals when needed
• Work closely with the Senior / Centre Manager to develop / strategize engagement programs for residents/clients and promote awareness of Vanguard and its mission.
• Develop a comprehensive outreach plan and publicity strategy for Vanguard
• Participate in the research, writing, and presentation of proposals and reports where required
• Lead and organize internal and or external events for Vanguard
• To track and report effectiveness of our outreach programmes and engagement activities
• To track donations on a timely manner and report to the manager monthly

Volunteer Management

• Work with various departments in Vanguard to manage / execute the volunteers’ framework for Vanguard
• Oversight and keeping track of Vanguard’s list of volunteers
• To conduct briefings to volunteers at commencement of activities
• Develop a feedback mechanism for the Volunteers who have served in Vanguard
• Attend meetings relating to volunteer activities e.g. Volunteer Committee, Public Education, NCSS meetings relating to volunteers’ activities
• Plan regular Support Group meetings and Volunteer Get-Togethers, Volunteers’ Appreciation functions in conjunction with various departments in Vanguard which use volunteers
• Develop relationships with the volunteers/ or their organisations so that a sustainable pipeline of volunteers is created.
• Collaborate with other social service agencies to leverage volunteers pool
• Manage regular reporting and tracking, and report metric
• Donation management – Tracking and responding to donations received for the Home.

Requirements:

• A degree in Mass Communications, or Journalism is preferred.
• Min 1 to 2 years' experience in public relations agency, events company, corporate communications environment or journalism is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply too.
• Have served a stint in a Charity or non-profit organisation, prior experience within the healthcare sector is preferred
• Savvy in design softwares and platforms such as Canva and Piktochart

• Support alignment with the latest global reporting standards and regulations, such as ISSB, GRI, SASB, TCFD, and other relevant frameworks.
• Analyse and interpret sustainability data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.
• Support the submission of required data and documentation for ESG rating assessments and evaluations; strive for efficiency.
• Stay current with evolving ESG rating methodologies and industry best practices to enhance our organisation's ratings and rankings.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve ESG data collection and accuracy, both quantitative and qualitative.
• Enhance current processes for data collection, validation, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate the review of sustainability data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.
• Monitor evolving sustainability reporting regulations, and industry trends to ensure best management and compliance with relevant laws and standards.
• Support accurate and up-to-date sustainability reporting in accordance with regulatory expectations.

Pre-requisites:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in environmental studies, finance, economics, engineering, or other related quantitative fields of study.
• Thorough experience with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and SDGs.
• Excellent understanding of ESG rating methodologies, industry benchmarks, and best practices, i.e. S&P Global, FTSE Russell, MSCI, CDP, SPOTT, World Benchmarking Alliance, etc.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Well-organised, self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical, project management, and writing skills to communicate progress and reporting across the organisation.

Job Overview

We are seeking an Operations Executive with a strong background in the food industry and a mindset for continuous improvement to join our team in Singapore. This role involves logistics & inventory planning and will be the "go to" person for inbound and outbound operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of delivery drivers for the day-to-day operations. Keep track of daily/weekly/monthly schedule, attendance, leave applicate and duty roster.
• Work with the delivery team to ensure orders are delivered on time. Ensure the outbound team has the necessary supplies and equipment to perform their tasks and duties.
• Resolve day to day operational issues with the delivery drivers. Oversee the daily operations to ensure smooth functioning in the process.
• Oversee the scheduling of regular maintenance on all vehicles.
• Develop and maintain processes to ensure inventory accuracy, inventory movement traceability.
• Ensure storage areas are well stocked on time. Perform cycle count to ensure inventory is accurate. Receive, QC check and put away incoming shipments in a timely manner.
• Responsible for Supply and Inbound Operations. Process permit clearance of shipments. Coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers with the supply team and freight forwarders, ensuring timely, cost-efficient delivery. Accountable for receiving shipments accuracy and reporting on any discrepancies.
• Assist in projects to support business plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in a relevant discipline
• 2-3 years’ experience in functions such as warehouse operations and supply chain management. Minimum 1 year experience in a leadership position in a relevant function, preferably in the food manufacturing, food services or food retail industry.
