• Ensure consistent timeliness of loading and unloading to avoid delays in inbound material removal and outbound shipments by the team. Included will be the correct shipment to our customers at all times by the training team to perform cross-checks and follow instructions on the material loaded.
• Set employee schedules, complete required production through the enterprise software, and review daily attendance punches for accuracy. Foresee and address overtime causes. Approve or assist in weekly approval of hours.
• Learn and lead improvement on required business management/production metrics as a requirement of the position. Additionally, train team members so they understand their responsibilities to the metrics. E., mill run rate, loading efficiencies, on-time delivery, etc. Employees should understand huddle board information and how to interpret it.
• Ensure customer specifications are being met on all produced, inbound, and outgoing products as a result of auditing, training, and coaching throughout each shift. This will include correct packaging, labeling, dimensional tolerances, defect-free products, etc
• Work as a leader, team member, resource, and/or coach and maintain required Lean and Visual Factory areas, including 5S, KanBan, daily task boards, housekeeping matrices, pull systems, shipping lanes, staging, etc. Continuous improvement project participation is required.

To augment our manpower resources in the School, we are seeking for an experienced professional to join the Academic Team as Senior Assistant Manager. The incumbent shall support the end-to-end administration of the Graduate and CET programmes and ensure quality services for students and faculty in the school.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the delivery of student and academic services for the Graduate and CET programmes.
• Oversees the planning and monitors student admission progress to ensure timeliness of the admission process.
• Coordinate interviews and liaise with various stakeholders for the processing and monitoring of applications, admissions, and scholarships outcomes.
• Manage the administration of the Graduate programme including timetabling, course registration, examination matters, curriculum administration, new course proposal submission, budgeting and advisory on student academic matters.
• Support the Programme Directors in the submission of Academic proposals for graduate and CET programmes (e.g new courses/programme, change in assessment components, and curriculum changes).
• Involve in the implementation of approved curriculum and policies.
• Manage the Graduate programme’s operations including budget preparation and submission, programme funding, addressing queries from students and faculty, booking of teaching facilities, tuition fee billing and instructors’ payment, administration of student feedback on teaching, engagement of instructors, student awards shortlisting and administration, academic misconduct, maintaining of student records, and assist with audit queries.
• Manage academic-related events for graduate students, as well as programme outreach, publicity, orientation and ad hoc student events.
• Consolidation and preparation of data and statistics and drafting of reports or proposals.

Requirements:

• A good Bachelor degree in any discipline, preferably with at least 6-8 years’ of administrative/programme management.
• Good to have knowledge on academic matters, academic policies, project management, business / data analytics, cross-cultural communication and management.
• Prior experience working in institutions of higher learning preferable.
• Strong administrative skills, meticulous with analytic and problem-solving skills and a keen eye for details.
• Good interpersonal and people management skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We have been evolving our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) over the past few years and are looking for an individual who will help us determine its future state. Our data warehouse needs to be the single source of truth when it comes to financial data produced throughout the firm. You will be responsible for planning, leading, coordinating, and monitoring activities of one or more projects covering various facets of the project life cycle ranging from project initiation to analysis and implementation. The current technology stack is Linux based, utilizing Vertica, Python, Perl, Tableau, and a Service Oriented Architecture for data distribution. The creation of the roadmap for the future technology stack is in progress and it will certainly leverage AWS for all or portions of the platform.

Qualifications/Skill Required:

10+ years of work experience as a PM in the IT industry with specialization in Data Warehousing
