Job Description:

• Assist the Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager.
• Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Resident Engineer and/or Consultant team.
• Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
• Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
• Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Maintain site records.
• Estimated commencement of work in February/March 2025

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
• A registered Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Resident Technical Officer on local projects.
• Experience in Plumbing and Sanitary projects will be added advantage
• Experience in supervision of Mechanical Services installation for local Hospital/Healthcare/Commercial Developments would be added advantage

Job Descriptions:

• Handle and maintain the AP & GL of the account.
• Responsible for the month-end closing process.
• Process payments in an accurate and timely manner, filing and documentation with the payment vouchers.
• Ensure inter-company transactions and balances are reconciled.
• Work closely with business units for smooth daily accounting operations.
• Liaising with suppliers or bankers when necessary for operation banking matters.
• Support in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Assist in year-end audit preparation, tax computation, and submission of all other statutory.

• Assist in preparing Income & Expenditure Statements, Balance Sheets, Annual Budgets and Financial statements

• Arrears computation and report submission
• Prepare reports and materials for the Finance Committee Meeting and attend to its queries
• Quarterly transfer computation for SF/LRF

• Verification of all supplier's and vendor's invoices and payment instructions with appropriate documents
• Process payments for expenses following approved procedures and agreed credit terms.
• Responsible for month-end closing of related companies and year-end closing.
• Preparation of a full set of accounts when required

• Liaising with external accountants for the preparation of Annual Reports and Audit

Job Requirements:

• At least a Degree in Accounting.
• Must have working experience with full sets of accounts
• Good knowledge of accounting concepts and double entries
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Navision preferred.
