Job Description:

• Oversee and manage the transfer of projects from the Japan headquarters to the ASEAN region.
• Perform demand planning based on customer requirements and forecasts.
• Optimize inventory management to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to coordinate deliveries.
• Provide accurate and timely reports on actual and forecasted figures to suppliers and the Japan HQ.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of customer products and supply chain processes.

Requirements:

• A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in customer service, purchasing, or material planning within the electronics or semiconductor sectors.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Capable of working both independently and within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Japanese is essential for effective coordination with Japan HQ.

Note: This role will require travel to China and Vietnam for at least 10 months per year. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication with Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders.

Job Overview:

• The ESG Manager will lead the company’s sustainability initiatives, driving the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies within the consumer electronics manufacturing industry. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with sustainability standards, enhancing long-term value, and promoting responsible corporate practices. The ESG Manager will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to advance sustainability goals, uphold corporate governance, and ensure transparency in ESG reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Environmental Responsibility (Sustainability Focus):

• Sustainability Strategy Development: Assess the company’s environmental footprint, focusing on areas such as resource consumption, waste management, energy efficiency, and carbon emissions. Develop and implement sustainable practices aimed at minimizing the company’s environmental impact.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations. Oversee environmental audits and prepare reports for compliance purposes.
• Sustainable Projects Leadership: Spearhead projects that drive the transition to green energy, carbon reduction, and circular economy practices, fostering sustainability throughout the product lifecycle and business operations.

Social Responsibility:

• Employee Wellbeing: Champion the development and implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive workplace.
• Community Engagement: Lead community outreach efforts and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to positively impact local communities through volunteering, philanthropic efforts, and social investments.

Corporate Governance:

• Risk Management: Identify and assess ESG-related risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies to protect the company’s reputation and financial health.
• ESG Reporting: Prepare comprehensive ESG reports and communicate key sustainability metrics to internal stakeholders, investors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and accountability in performance.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Foster partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, investors, and other stakeholders to support and enhance ESG efforts.
• ESG Ratings and Performance: Monitor and enhance the company’s ESG ratings across various platforms, positioning the company as a sustainable investment choice for socially responsible investors.
• Market Trends and Policy Monitoring: Keep abreast of global ESG trends and regulatory changes, adjusting corporate strategies as necessary to ensure ongoing compliance and leadership in the field.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, Business Administration (with a sustainability focus), Public Policy, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in ESG management, particularly within the consumer electronics manufacturing industry, and a deep understanding of ESG frameworks and standards.
• Proven expertise in corporate governance and social responsibility initiatives.
• Strong communication, coordination, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Previous experience in project or corporate management is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work abroad in China and Vietnam for at least 10 months per year, including annual round-trip tickets to Singapore and separate living accommodations.

Job Description:

• Analyse the needs of users, design, test and develop the software solutions to meet those needs by utilizing the principals of computer science and information technology.
• To provide flexible solutions to integrated applications, recommend upgrades for existing network, systems and programs, and to ensure any new product integrations are hassle free.
• Analyse product requirements and implementation of feasible solutions to meet these requirements
• Update exsisting software, to enhance software capabilities, develop and take charge of software testing and validation procedures while ensuring the continued functionality of a program during maintenance and testing phase
• Document each aspect of a system or application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance
• Revisit the development process to fix bugs or address client or consumer concerns, supporting existing data patches and enhancements.
• Work with the business analysts and users to ensure policy premiums are calculated as required.
• Work with computer engineers to integrate anyhardware and software systems to develop specifications and performance requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development using Java/VP/MS
• Preferbly with experiences in the healthcare/insurance industry with functional knowledge

• Serve as the main point of contact for Japanese customers, addressing daily inquiries related to quotations, deliveries, quality, environmental, legal, financial, technical, and other services.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure customer satisfaction while aligning with company policies and interests. Effective communication, time management, and problem-solving skills are essential for handling various transactions and issues.
• Conduct face-to-face or online meetings with customers and internal stakeholders to strengthen relationships, understand customer production trends, and discuss sales forecasts or daily matters.
• Take proactive steps to prevent or resolve long-term inventory issues, updating the status in internal tools as required.
• Occasionally travel for business trips to visit overseas customers.
• Contribute to the company’s growth into new business sectors beyond semiconductor distribution.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• Basic knowledge of Electrical & Electronics Engineering is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Japanese (N2 or higher) or a strong willingness to improve language skills.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in semiconductor or electronics industries, or relevant educational or work experience in Japan.
• Strong communication skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and logical problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and familiar with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, export/import procedures, and logistics (warehouse/forwarding) is a plus.
