Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Support Engineer professional to join our team to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to collaborate with various departments to support and maintain our software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues (Linux VMs, Vendor Product, SFTP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions to prevent future issues.
• Create and maintain documentation related to production issues and resolutions via JIRA.
• Implement and maintain processes and procedures to improve production support.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on system performance and issue status.
• Ensure proper deployment and release of software updates & infrastructure patches/upgrades.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production issues after business hours. There are two shifts, Morning (7 AM to 4 PM) and Afternoon (2 PM to 11 PM), running 7 days a week.
• Deployments during silent hours.
• Development work within the vendor product (about 10%-20% of time).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Production Support or related role.
• Strong technical skills in Java, SQL, UNIX, and scripting languages.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

Responsible for daily cloud operations, cloud implementations, and technical customer engagements. The role demands proficiency in basic operations, administration, and handling specific implementation projects or pilots in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute cloud infrastructure operations, ensuring high performance, security, scalability, and reliability.

• Implement and deploy configurations with a focus on automation, adhering to design specifications.

Technical Expertise:

Database Activity Monitoring (DAM):

• Monitor database activity for unauthorized access and suspicious behaviour.
• Configure rules to detect SQL injections, privilege escalations, and anomalies.
• Perform access reviews to enforce least-privilege access controls.

Continuous Threat Vulnerability Library (CTVL):

• Maintain and update a repository of known vulnerabilities and threats.
• Integrate threat intelligence into vulnerability management programs.
• Collaborate with security teams to address high-priority vulnerabilities.

Nexpose (Vulnerability Management):

• Deploy and configure Nexpose for comprehensive vulnerability scanning.
• Customize scanning templates to meet regulatory and security requirements.
• Generate actionable remediation plans from vulnerability assessments.

Skills and Achievements:

• Proficiency in DAM, CTVL, and Nexpose tools to bolster security and manage vulnerabilities.

• Experience in integrating DAM and Nexpose with SIEM platforms for enhanced monitoring.

• Analytical and collaborative skills to translate technical findings into actionable outcomes.

• Manage and supervise major construction supervision as RE of building works and civil infrastructure,involving site inspection, meetings and review of drawings and method statements in accordance to customer specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.
• Carry out independent design checks for temporary falsework and formwork support system
• Keep quality records of all works, monitor and report on work progress
• Review and comment on contractor's submissions.
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters.
• Station full-time on site to support Senior Resident Engineers (SRE) and the QP(S) with projects.

• Possess Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PEB and registered with IES as Resident Engineer
• At least 5 years of MRT Project Experience or Civil/Structural works.
• Has good working knowledge of Civil and M&E works and Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Proficiency in project management and construction supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills
