RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take charge of all aspects of electrical engineering in the design of electrical transmission cable system, switchboard, MCC and control.
• Knowledge in relevant standards of IEC for cable manufacturing, testing and installation.
• Able to take on numerous challenging tasks while simultaneously meeting high standards and deadlines / vision
• Provide technical expertise in the development of electrical engineering plans, specifications, and
• Conduct feasibility studies, budgeting and technical evaluations to support decision-making processes for new ventures and projects.
• Identify, analyse, and resolve design issues and technical problems related to electrical systems.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
• Ensure that electrical systems comply with industry standards and regulations, including safety standards.
• Support manufacturing and installation teams during system deployment and testing phases, including hands-on installation and cable termination works.
• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or HOD.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
• Able to read & understand line diagram and generate Bill of Materials from single line diagram
• Knowledge on control, schematics, motor controls and materials take-off
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
• Knowledge in supply transmission cable would be an added advantage
• Able to take on numerous challenging tasks while simultaneously meeting high standards and deadlines / Applicants with more than 3 years of relevant experience may be considered for more senior positions.

Job Descriptions

· Responsible for the daily project operations of the company;

· Plan, supervise, execute and follow-up on all project actions and schedules;

· Lead and supervise workers to carry out site operations.

· Perform installation, testing, troubleshooting of machine.

· Carry our preventive maintenance work for company and client sites.

· Capable of handling situational problems, looking into customer’s complaints and initiating corrective actions;

· Conduct or Attend Daily Safety Meeting/Toolbox Meeting;

· Conduct On-Site maintenance services including Preventive Maintenance (PM) & Corrective Maintenance (CM)

· To prepare reports, documentation, quotation for site works.

· To perform troubleshooting independently.

· Ensure the compliance to ISO Standards and processes, WHS regulations, Code of Practices, Standards (QA/QC requirements) and Safe Management Measures;

· Prepare, submission and filing of Project-related reports such as Risk Assessment (RA), Method of Statement (MOS), Manpower Appointment, Permit to Work and etc;

· Ensure all documentation of records are up to date and filed accordingly;

· Any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Minimum Higher NITEC/NTC2 or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 1-2 years' relevant experience.

· Candidate must possess at least Higher NITEC/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.

· Understanding of Electrical / Pneumatics / Hydraulics systems

· Understanding of electrical single line diagrams.

· On-the-job training will be provided

· Software knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint;

· Must be dynamic, innovative, meticulous with positive working attitude, strong interpersonal and communication skills;

· Possess Building Construction Safety Supervisor Certificate will be preferred

· Possess Work-At-Height Supervisor/Assessor certificate will be preferred

· Possess Confined Space Assessor will be preferred

· Possess Lifting Supervisor will be preferred

· With a valid Singapore Class 2/3 driving license and own transport will be of advantage.
