Key Role Statement:

· Ability to use Google Workplace (Sheets, Forms, App Script etc). Familiar or able to efficiently learn to handle current IT system in the company and devices.

· Able to organise tasks and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision.

· Technically savvy and self-motivated learner.

· Possess excellent communication and task management skills.

· Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is a plus as future work will involve collaboration with international teams based in other countries in Asia.

Work Hours and Location:

· Work Days: 5-days work week (Need to be on stand-by for emergency calls by support to staff working 8.30am-12noon on Sats)

Job Responsibilities:

· To liaise and conduct inspection with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.

· To assist on all structural works carried out according to approved drawings

· To monitor the progress and assist on structural inspection on all Structural works according to the approved drawings issued.

· To check and monitor the Structural and Architectural works according to the contract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings and method of statements

· To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works in accordance to the Project specifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.

· To be overall in charge of the management and control of a team of site staff or Resident Technical Officer(s) in performing their duties on site so that they can provide satisfactory supervision and to take responsibility of their work and performance.

· To oversee in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project, keeping and submitting record of works, materials, equipment at site, attending meetings, keeping minutes of meetings and discussions, assisting in the co-ordination of Contractor’s works with consultants and any external parties.

Requirements:

· RE registration with IES is mandatory

· Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

· Min 2 years of experience in site supervision of works

· Be conversant in local legislation, regulations and codes
