As a part of the Operations team, participate in the Group Meetings in accordance with Company procedures and ensure that all relevant output is cascaded through the teams under your control within the organisation.

• Review and Sign-off of Toolbox talks relevant to your role.
• Identify engineering training requirements and propose attendees and training as required to fulfil the company’s work bank.
• Report regularly on the Project and company’s technical compliance and risk assessment activities under your control or supervision.

• Overall responsibility for health, safety and welfare of all staff under your control or supervision whilst at work. This responsibility also extends to all sub-contractors, outside parties, customers and members of the public engaged in or affected by contract operational activities, either completed or in progress.
• To aid or conduct investigation into all accidents, incidents and near misses to Company staff or its subcontractors.
• To enforce the wearing of all relevant PPE by all employees where mandated by the relevant safe system.
• To ensure that staff and employees under your control conduct themselves in a professional and polite manner at all times
• Attendance or organisation of attendance at relevant key customer Meetings and Reviews
• To provide full support to the Company and Line Managers in implementation of all Company strategies, policies, requirements and Customer requirements
• Undertake duties as Track Handback Engineer wherever required or instructed by Company.
• To comply with all relevant Legislation, Contractual Standards and all procedures and instruction contained within the Management System applicable to your role.
• To refuse to work whenever you feel that a safe system of work or working practice is inadequate to protect the Rail Infrastructure, the Travelling Public and yourself or you fellow workers. You must try to manage out risk primarily and report any refusal to work to your immediate Supervisor/Manager or escalate if necessary.
• Experience of practical railway engineering including standards, design, construction, maintenance and development
• Personal Track Safety Certificate or similar
• Recognised Handback Engineer Certificate from UK or similar
• Proven technical, engineering and managerial experience and be conversant with all relevant rules, regulations, codes of practise and Company Standards
• Working knowledge and understanding of competence requirements for technical engineering railway safety critical works and works under possessions
• other departments to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals and objectives

Job Description:

• Responsible for managing a team of M&E coordinators and BIM Modelers in the design and coordination works.

• Attend technical and site meetings with consultants.

• Study M&E drawings and coordinate M&E work with the consultants and sub-contractors to resolve any technical / site issues.

• Interfacing or M&E planning, coordination with consultants and document control such as monitoring of sample submission, approval status of drawing.

• Coordinating, organizing and preparing construction and Interfacing/M&E documents and drawing.

• Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications / drawings.

• Inform Project Director / Project Manager on any technical / site problems.

• Supervise the progress of works on site.

• Coordination of sub-contractor's work and ensuring the work is on schedule.

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in M&E recognized by PEB or with a BCA M&E coordination certificate.

• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience as M&E Manager in large scale projects.

• Highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and communication skills.

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills/people management skills, good communication skills and negotiation skills and possess strong leadership qualities.

• Efficient, good analytical skills and able to work independently.

• Proven track records of successful project completion on time and on budget or exceeding expectations will be well regarded.

• Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
