Job Description
-Maintaining, implementing, or enhancing electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
-Performing a broad spectrum of engineering tasks by utilizing computer-aided design or engineering software and equipment.
-Ensuring that installation and operations adhere to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
-Ensuring adherence to specifications, codes, or customer requirements by overseeing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
-Collaborating with various project stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
-Addressing and resolving technical problems and issues with diverse parties.
-Preparing Method of Statements (MOS) (inspection test plan, safe work procedures) & other documents such as Requests for Information (RFI) etc.
-Compiling reports (weekly, monthly) on project progression and completion.
-Conducting communication with individuals at all levels and resolving arising conflicts.
-Gathering and evaluating drawing and technical information.
-Ensuring all plans comply with governmental health, safety regulations, trade requirements, and code of practice.
-Providing guidance and leadership to contractor teams and executing operations or project tasks.
-Developing work schedule micro programs, planning ahead of work program, conducting presentations, tracking and monitoring task progress.
-Undertaking other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
-Possession of exceptional interpersonal skills and communication abilities, along with leadership qualities to influence others.
-Efficient, possessing good analytical skills and capable of independent work.
-Possession of a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from accredited universities recognized by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
-Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a marine construction or general construction company is preferred.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD software.
-Availability to commence work immediately or with short notice.
