• Check and ensure terms and conditions of project contracts, Letters of Acceptance and Letters of Intent are in order and acceptable before confirmation.
• Prepare budgetary list of awarded projects, source and obtain quotations from suppliers.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing and award supply contracts to suppliers
• Prepare evaluation and certification of sub-contractors’ progress payments.
• Prepare and follow up on monthly progress claims.
• Prepare costing and submit quotations to clients for Variation Orders (VO) items.
• Liaise with main contractor on payments and VO confirmations.
• Prepare Final Account for completed projects and obtain management’s approval.
• Follow up with clients on final payments and release of retentions
• Liaise with main contractor on performance bonds.
• Prepare monthly report of payment collection forecast and estimation of payments to sub-contractors.
• Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Building / Civil / Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years of related work experience in similar capacity, preferably in building/construction industry.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Able to meet deadlines of multiple projects in fast paced environment

Objectives of this role
