• Preparation of work schedule & assigning duties to subordinates and Management of workers
• Pre-inspection for formwork, reinforcement according to drawings
• Supervise work safety, housekeeping, and other site work.
• Inspection to ensure good workmanship and compliance with specifications
• Keep proper record of all works including but not limited to tests, inspections, and minutes of site meetings.
• Prepare Making Progress and Daily report and completion report
• Monitor and report on the work progress and highlight to the Project Manager any delay by the Subcontractor.

• Responsible for taking off quantities, sourcing sub-contractors & suppliers, pricing and preparation of tender submission.
• Carry out site measurement and evaluate price comparison and costing summary.
• Project administration and documentation including preparation of interim valuations, pricing and agreement of contract variations, update claim submissions, preparation of final accounts.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At least 3 years working as a Quantity Surveyor in building construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of building condition of contract.

• Carry out quantities taking off and checking during tendering
• Evaluate of quotation and costing summary for approval prior tender submission
• Prepare project cash flow statement
• Prepare and finalization of subcontract document (incorporate all contract and technical requirements)
• Assist SPM/PM with the negotiation and award of sub-contracts
• Ensure submission of bonds/warranties from sub-contractors
• Prepare payment claims and provide substantiation for VO for valuation

Responsibilities:

• Assist the project manager with on and off site meeting pertaining to the technical issues
• Responsible for submission of Architectural samples, shops drawing and other related documents to the consultants or authorities
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at site including periodical site inspection and attending meetings during course of construction of project
• Proven problem solving and achievements work progress according to the work schedule
• Site supervision and able to coordinate well with sub-contractors, RE and RTO

Requirements:

• Candidate must at least a Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Min 3 years relevant experience in the related field for this position
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance
• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and Monitor progress, quality of worksmanship and compliance with contract requirements.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety provision at site working area for workers to carry out tasks.
• Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man-hours returns and coordinate in all aspects of site issues.
• Co-ordinate and monitor the availability and on time delivery of materials / equipment to complete the construction work within schedule.
• Supervision of work and ensure work done in accordance with specification and quality requirements.

Job Requirement:

• Preferred relevant working experience in Singapore (others relevant experience can be discussed )
• 2-5 years of working experience in related works
• Experience with Project Management, Safety and Health Management, and Risk Management Manager is added advantage
• Abe to work independently, and manage a team of workers.
• Must be hands-on, daily inspect the site works, and ensure projects completion on time
• Class 3 driving license preferred
• Good project management skills, excellent communication and coordination skills and great conceptualization and presentation skills will be helpful though not necessary.
