Responsibilities

-Formulate and uphold the project schedule to efficiently manage project timelines and commitments

-Develop, monitor, and assess equipment and labor deployment plans for construction activities

-Create and update pre-construction and construction programs for the Project Management team

-Conduct monthly/weekly/daily project progress reporting tasks

-Provide information and aid in claims analysis using scheduling system capabilities for accurate construction activity depiction

-Define specific activities considering the Master Project Schedule, labor, material, and equipment availabilities throughout the project duration

-Evaluate actual weekly progress including Actual progress S-Curve & Manpower Histogram against the approved Baseline

-Schedule and predict weekly and monthly work, setting productivity targets

-Maintain Baseline Schedule, regularly update current schedule, and analyze proposed changes and additional activities' effects on the project using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project software

-Monitor project progress with a continuous improvement mindset, adjusting planned schedules according to site conditions and contractual obligations. Propose changes to management, especially in case of schedule variances

-Conduct periodic site inspections to verify actual progress and capture progress photos for documentation and management presentations

-Perform any other necessary duties

Requirements:

-Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering

-Certification in Primavera P6 Software Project Management

-3-5 years of Project Planning and Programme experience in the Construction Industry

-Experience with LTA / MRT projects advantageous

-Proficiency in Primavera Project Planning software P6 or Microsoft Project software and MS Office

• Monitor contractual records and documentation such as correspondences, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for on-going projects. And develop costing and contracts database.
• Provide guidance on contractual matters to project managers or other project staffs through training of new project managers and other employees in contracting practices and procedures and communicating contract details to all concerned parties to provide contract visibility and awareness
• Support to identify areas of recurrent issues during tender preparation and develop solutions in resolving these issues and recognise variation to contract that will impact profitability of project and seek early resolution.
• Assist the contract manager to prepare and develop tender write-up and consolidate documents for tender, ensuring submission is within tender deadline.
• Monitor and ensure early closure of final account for the projects
• Plan and monitor the award of the subcontract to avoid project program from being affected.
• Maintain and contribute to the effectiveness of Integrated Management System
• Perform other duties assigned by Contracts Manager and the Management.

Job Description

· Preparation of Pre & Post Tender

· Assisting Project Manager by providing necessary support to meet the company, project and tender goal. E.g. Tender matters, Contractual Matters, Project Matters, General Matters

· Detect Tender and project problems preventively and ensure effective corrective action is executed.

· Ensure Contract Work strictly complied with the contract specification.

· Liaise with client, supplier and sub-contractor on execution of site work.

· Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned

Requirements

· Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and a leader to influence

· Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.

· Diploma/Degree/Master in Civil & Engineering or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA , Possess quantity surveying skills is a plus.

· Experience in a marine construction company is favourable, however, fresh graduates may apply.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCad

· Able to start work immediately.
