• Responsible for the coordination & supervision for installation, testing and commissioning services of projects undertaken by the company e.g. electrical systems, ACMV systems etc.
• Ability to coordinate with interface contractors and consultants for Engineering issues and shop floor drawings
• Liaise with clients and consultants on work progress
• Ability to resolve all issues related to M&E installations, quality & defects works, handover rectifications etc.
• To detect and resolve M&E services clashes shown on BIM model

Requirements:

• Recognized Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Min 5 years of relevant working site experience in leading civil infrastructure works
• Experience in CCSM, SEM and SWC activities
• Familiar with AutoCAD (BIM / Revit / Navisworks) optional
• Must have LTA Transit Station Projects experience

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

• Develop detailed installation plans and schedules in collaboration with the project manager and other team members.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and installation of precast components.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.

Installation Management:

• Supervise the installation of precast concrete components, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and project timelines.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards and address any non-conformities promptly.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical guidance and support to the installation crew, including troubleshooting and resolving installation challenges.
• Liaise with the design team to clarify any technical queries and ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
• Conduct pre-installation meetings to brief the installation team on project requirements and safety protocols.

Quality Assurance and Control:

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
• Perform regular inspections and tests to verify the quality of installed precast components.
• Document and report any quality issues, and work with the project team to implement corrective measures.

Safety Management:

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards during the installation process.
• Conduct regular safety audits and provide training to the installation crew on safe work practices.
• Address any safety concerns promptly and implement measures to mitigate risks.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including daily progress reports, site inspections and material deliveries
• Prepare and submit regular reports to the project manager, highlighting progress, challenges, and any deviations from the project plan.
• Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience and knowledge in precast field
• Registered RE with IES
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Job Description

a) To report to the Manager or team leader as shown in the organization chart. He/she is responsible for the assigned or related project tasks and responsibilities.

b) The detailed duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Study and fully understand the ISO requirements, technical drawings, scope, contractual requirements and sub-contract agreements. Work with the consultants to resolve technical issues prior to construction.
• Submit to superior for feedback and concurrence on short or medium-term programmes and execute the works according to the detailed programme.
• Ensure that the works are carried out according to the approved drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements. Managing the works with excellent housekeeping is a key focus.
• For quality management, the engineer is responsible to fully implement with the quality recordings, carry out result analysis and formulate action plans for continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain proper recordings to comply with EHS, quality, client and authorities’ requirements.
• Responsible for cost management so that the materials used for both temporary works and permanent works are not damaged or control the wastage within specified tolerance. Rework or abortive work which has serious time and cost impacts shall be avoided.
• Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.
