Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Others), or equivalent.

· This position requires at least 2 Years of working experience in the related field.

Responsibility:

· Report to the Project Manager

· Ensuring site setting out is correct

· Prepare the method of the statement before work construction

· Site inspection, management, and coordination of on-site activities.

· Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall

project manager

· Able to solve problems on-site

· Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork

· Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering

· Coordinating with the Purchaser for the delivery of materials

· Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation is adhered to.

· Liaise with the Quantity Surveyor for the monthly progress of the sites for the submission of the Progress Claim

· Attend daily, weekly, or monthly meetings with the project team or client

JOB SUMMARY

Leads and operates Information Technology (IT) discipline for properties and managed offices in scope. Manages a team of IT resources and is accountable for day-to-day hotel and company office IT operations. Provides support to operations leaders for owner relations and negotiations on IT matters. Once handed over from the direct manager, accountable for new opening/acquisition construction oversight, countdown, and live operation. Executes property internet support. Works with direct manager on vendor management and product development for the assigned market.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

General

· Maintains status documentation (goals, scorecard, LPA tracking, etc.) to verify accuracy.

· Strives to achieve balanced scorecard and goals by leveraging resources and concepts to achieve desired results.

· Monitors assigned company owned and managed offices to verify IT operations are running effectively.

· Meets with direct manager to provide updates on IT activities and business plans.

· Meets with business point of contact of each property (General Manager, Director of Finance, etc.) or in-person contact at least once every two months to seek feedback and provide effective updates on IT activities and plans. Produces follow-up report, action plans and information distribution.

· Assists with the activation of all potential properties within the cluster by building business cases and engaging owners and business partners.

People

· Owns IT vendor relationship for properties in scope.

· Participates in the Talent Acquisition process according to company procedures.

· Verifies induction program for new associates or associates transferring to new role is effective.

· Trains associate(s) to provide backup coverage in the department to cover cluster leader’s function during vacation and sick leave.

· Performs LPA’s on a timely basis and allocates sufficient time, research, and effort to verify the process effectively benefits the development of associates.

· Verifies effective communication, training, and execution of all talent development programs and related initiatives.

· Develops a personal management style that is intended to bring positive results from Associates.

· Builds and maintains positive and effective relations with direct team members.

Product

· Strives to remain informed on the most up to date knowledge regarding vendor activities.

· Notifies direct manager to put resources in place to verify owners have sufficient vendor choices in each market/city.

Process

· Maintains IT inventory for the assigned properties/offices in cluster.

· Manages cluster IT Agreements for assigned properties.

· Verifies cluster associates are treated appropriately and in alignment with local operational practices.

· Verifies the execution and tracking of rollouts on a timely basis.

· Compiles, seeks approval, monitors, and strives to meet operating budgets; manages expenses using tracking and forecasting tools and engages with the accounting team closely.

· Verifies resources assigned to IT escalation and tracking processes are effective and meet the service level agreements.

· Monitors flow of issue management amongst continent support desk, vendors, and cluster organizations to verify effectiveness.

· Implements cluster best practices and suggests enhancements with the intent to benefit the wider IT community.

· Implements cluster IT policies and procedures as received by regional IT.

· Attends IT Education Calls.

· Verifies planning and accomplishment of technology disaster and contingency plan testing for each property and office.

· Completes other reasonable duties as requested by leadership.

Description:

• Perform loading/unloading duties at the aircraft
• Physically fit and able to lift loads up to 15kg
• Collect, load, check and hand over meals and catering items to crew for freighter flights
• Marshaling the vehicle while approaching near to the aircraft and reversing

As the Civil/Structural Design Coordinator to be stationed at the Authority's Project Office or otherwise as directed until Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP). He shall be the first point of contact for providing all Consultant's design services and/or supervision during construction of civil contract.

Requirements:

• Minimum three (3) years civil/ structural engineering experience in the design of projects of similar nature, after tertiary education.

• The Engineers shall have a Degree in Engineering from a University recognised by Professional Engineers Board (PEB).

We are seeking an individual with Structural technical experience for the position of Structural Project Engineer at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd.  The candidate will work directly with the Project Manager and the subcontractors throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

The candidate will be accountable for ensuring the work required such as submittals, RFI’s, coordination drawings, updating documents, etc are complete, ready and approved for the steel subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on managing the structural subcontractor field operations and installation details for a large complex data center project, having stringent technical requirements.  

It is expected that the candidate will be a very detail-oriented individual with previous experience working as a structural project engineer on data center projects and/or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands-on” work coordinating approved design documents and ensuring installed work in the field complies with such documents.  The candidate must have robust Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Reporting to the a construction manager, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating site-related works with the electrical Subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on working in the field and will report directly to a Construction Manager. This candidate should understand all aspects of construction in relation to executing work on-site 

It is expected that the candidate will be detail-oriented with previous experience working as a mechanical, electrical, or plumbing Site Supervisor on data center projects and/or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work coordinating with contractors in the field during the installation of all aspects of the project superstructure.  The candidate must have strong Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. team, subcontractors of all tiers, vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

We are seeking an individual with QA/QC experience in the mechanical trades for the position of QA/QC Engineer for Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations. The candidate will assist with the QA/QC program throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the candidate will be responsible for assuring the implementation and compliance with the Quality Assurance System and for scope of work related to mechanical items. 

It is expected the candidate will be a very detailed and organized individual with extensive previous experience working as a QA/QC on large, international projects with deep knowledge of mechanical systems. There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work understanding and implementing the VDC QA/QC systems. The candidate must have excellent leadership and Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. team, subcontractors of all tiers, vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

The candidate will provide guidance to other team members they interact with and manage daily. The candidate will be expected to know the drawings and specifications and dig into the details to resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute and share program evolutions and lessons learned with Fortis Construction, Inc. US operations QA/QC Managers
• Represent Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. in the utmost professional manner while constantly embracing honesty, integrity, and truth

• Run the weekly QA/QC Meetings, drive open quality issues to closure, keep meeting minutes and document for future reference together with subcontractors
• Play a proactive role with field inspections, together with the subcontractors and the Client in developing pre-test plans prior to contractual testing and stay ahead of normally scheduled inspections with the authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ). Assist the contractor in resolution of known issues and lessons learned from other sites
• Assist with onsite/remote BIM 360 Field training of new Trade Partners / site personnel (iPad and Desktop) and competency with BIM 360 Field to create issues, capture QA/QC related issues, and create checklists.
• Identify issue and close them prior to punch walk and area substantial turnover date, by working with Client and Trade Partner’s QA/QC team
• Establish a great relationship with the Client, Trade Partner and local AHJ
   

We are seeking an individual with Building Management Systems technical experience for the position of BMS Project Engineer at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations.  The candidate will work directly with the BMS Project Manager and the subcontractors throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the BMS Project Manager, the candidate will be accountable for ensuring the work required; such as, submittals, RFI’s, coordination drawings, updating documents, etc., are complete, ready, and approved for the Building Management Systems (BMS) Subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on working with the Senior Commissioning Manager and BMS Project Manager who are responsible for the BMS Subcontractor operations and installation for a large complex data center project, having stringent technical requirements.

It is expected the candidate will be a very detailed individual with previous experience working as a MEP Project Engineer on data center projects and or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work coordinating approved design documents and ensuring installed work in the field comply with such documents.  The candidate must have strong Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. team, subcontractors of all tiers, vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

Responsibilities:

• In conjunction with the MEP Manager and Preconstruction Managers, develop the complete scope of work for assigned trades and ensure that all scope gaps are assigned appropriately
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the MEP scope delineation matrix
• Actively participate in the preconstruction process and subcontractor budgeting progress
• Understand manpower requirements and subcontractor installation units being used to develop pricing
• In conjunction with the subcontractors, develop a monthly cost spend projection for the duration of the project and update monthly to accuracy rates of +/- 5%. Accuracy judged on a quarterly and monthly timetable
• Develop and maintain a procurement log for each individual equipment, system, and material and ensure that all submittals are prepared by the subcontractor and reviewed by the engineering team to leave enough time for lead time procurement
• Coordinate and prepare RFIs with the subcontractors and manage the engineering team to ensure the issues are properly understood and the response is timely
• Ensure that managed subcontractor's work is coordinated through design, preconstruction, shop-drawing production, field installation, testing, startup, and commissioning 
• Work with subcontractors to develop and maintain internal schedules and ensure that all proper elements are tracked on a weekly basis
• In conjunction with the OFCI, QAQC and Commissioning managers, develop OFCI equipment delivery sequences, installation procedures, QAQC checklists, startup and commissioning procedures
• Actively participate in all 5 levels of commissioning:
  • Level 1 - Attend select Factory Witness Testing
  • Level 2 - Ensure subcontractor development of equipment receipt and installation procedures.
  • Level 3 - Develop with subcontractor flush and fill procedures, coordinate vendor support, track startup progress.
  • Level 4 - Coordinate subcontractor and vendor support
  • Level 5 - Coordinate subcontractor and vendor support
• Manage the design deliverable packages and aid in the process to ensure that they are reviewed on schedule
• Assist in the QAQC of the low voltage systems (BMS, Security & Fire Alarm)
   

We are currently seeking to recruit a Document Controller to join our team. Initiative and problem-solving skills are a must, as are strong interpersonal and communication skills. Possess experience in implementing document control procedures, setting up, configuring and managing Common Data Environments (CDE) / Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) at an administrator level.

Key Responsibilities

• Management and configuration of CDE – Undertake configuration and day-to-day management of the system, adding and maintaining user accounts and security groups. Respond to ad-hoc requests from users to move or rename any incorrectly uploaded file/document.
• Interface with the Project Team and other agreed stakeholders - Act as the main point of contact for all queries and requests relating to the CDE system.
• Provide CDE training and maintain training log – Organise and undertake regular training sessions on the purpose and use of the system for new users and refresher training for existing users. Provide training and guidance on file naming protocols. Create and maintain training logs.
• Provide advanced training – to super users and local administrators, covering advanced user and administrator CDE functionality.
• Maintain Container Configuration and workflows – Undertake regular checks on file/document links across the system and fix as required. Undertake periodic reviews of file/document workflows and release/move on locked workflows.
• Develop and Maintain User guides – Prepare and update training packs, system user guides and quick reference sheets.
• Manage system compliance and provide compliance reports – Undertake weekly compliance audits regarding file naming, file storage locations, and user access and provide reports to the head of WSO.
• Create new project setups on CDE – Create new project sites and assign users.
• Support – Provide ad-hoc reports and information on system usage, compliance and assist with ad-hoc requests relating to user activity.
• Maintain User Directories, IM Protocol and File naming protocol – Update and maintain the user access matrix, IM and File naming protocols to reflect new projects and users of the system.

We are seeking an individual with mechanical, electrical, or plumbing technical experience for the position of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) Site Supervisor at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations.  The candidate will work directly with the Engineering Manager and the subcontractors throughout the construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating DfMA-related works with the contractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on working in the field and will report directly to the Engineering Manager. This candidate should understand all aspects of construction in relation to executing Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) work. 

It is expected that the candidate will be detail-oriented with previous experience working as a supervisor or manager at a DfMA/PPVC factory for data center projects and/or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work coordinating with contractors in the field during the installation of all aspects of the project superstructure.  The candidate must have strong Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. • Log and post all changes and as-built information on field drawings. Provide such information to the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team so such information can be incorporated into the final virtual model
• Ensure all information is current and communicated with the project team
• Interface with the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) manager for all client-provided equipment
• Liaise with the engineering consultants, supervisory engineers, inspectors and relevant staff
• Produce weekly cloud-based QA/QC check for the DfMA/PPVC scope of work
• Ensure that DfMA/PPVC contractors adhere to relevant quality documentation/records

We are seeking an individual with QA/QC experience in the steel trade for the position of QA/QC Engineer for Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations. The candidate will assist with the QA/QC program throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the candidate will be responsible for assuring the implementation and compliance with the Quality Assurance System and for scope of work related to the structural steel items. 

It is expected the candidate will be a very detailed and organized individual with extensive previous experience working as a QA/QC on large, international projects with deep knowledge of steel structural systems. There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work understanding and implementing the VDC QA/QC systems. The candidate must have excellent leadership and Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. team, subcontractors of all tiers, vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

Assist the contractor in resolution of known issues and lessons learned from other sites
• Assist with onsite/remote BIM 360 Field training of new Trade Partners / site personnel (iPad and Desktop) and competency with BIM 360 Field to create issues, capture QA/QC related issues, and create checklists.
• Identify issue and close them prior to punch walk and area substantial turnover date, by working with Client and Trade Partner’s QA/QC team

We are seeking an individual with experience of Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) / Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination for Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).  

Reporting to the Design Manager, the candidate will be accountable for coordinating and collaboration among Fortis' BIM team and subcontractors. Knowledge and implementation experience of necessary BIM software technologies is required. This role is focused primarily on coordinating BIM on a large complex program with stringent standards and integrated QA/QC requirements.  As the team is built and the project gets underway, the long-term vision/preference is to expand this team and potentially support Fortis Construction, Inc. projects for the same client and ultimately have a Southeast Asia-based BIM department.  

The candidate will work as a member of the BIM team in Singapore and is expected to be detail-oriented with extensive previous experience working as a BIM Coordinator.
