• Able to use primavera 6 and Microsoft project for project scheduling
• Gather pertinent data, perform related calculations and analyse schedule impact, include critical path method (CPM).
• Produce and maintain the good quality work on project schedule, inclusive frequent updating project schedule with physical site progress
• Able develop progress reports, daily, weekly and monthly basis (e.g., overall S-curve, plan vs actual table)
• Proactively engage and communicate with Construction Team on schedule matters for developing quality schedule and updated the status
• Determine project requirements and estimate resources by allocating correct resources such as manpower, materials and equipment.
• Coordinate between interdisciplinary for logical connection among activities.
• Prepare construction schedules, resource and cost loaded with governance of major project milestones stated in the project contract.
• Oversee the master schedule and highlight deviations that critical enough to pay attention to supervisor/project management team.
• Coordinate with Contract Engineer on project progress claims matters.
• Interface with sub-contractors and client’s representative to finalise the baseline schedule.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Our client is a leading player in Manufacturing industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to be part of their Engineering Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the North - easily accessible.

Duties of Quantity Surveyor :

• Cost Evaluation: Conduct technical evaluations, prepare Bills of Quantity (BOQ), and perform cost analysis for projects.
• Supplier & Subcontractor Management: Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors according to project requirements.
• Drawing Review: Review architectural and electrical drawings; prepare and revise designs using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Electrical Load Calculation: Calculate maximum electrical demand, including lighting, power consumption, and energy requirements.
• Design & Drafting: Design and draft electrical service layouts such as lighting, power, cableways, and create related diagrams.
• As-Built Drawings: Prepare and update As-Built drawings for completed projects.
• Site Coordination: Coordinate site visits with subcontractors and the operations team.
• Quality Control: Ensure quality control of electrical installations according to design drawings on-site.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Relevant experience
