Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Consulting Firm (Construction)
• Position Title: Assistant Engineer (Civil/Construction)
• Working Location: West (Nearest MRT: Jurong East)
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM)
• Salary: Up to SGD 2800 + Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work independently and complete work assignments within set deadlines
• Apply an inquisitive and resourceful approach to problem-solving
• Manage and oversee civil and structural engineering projects
• Demonstrate proficiency in BIM and CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc
• Be willing to learn and explore new skills as assigned by the company

• Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering, Built Environment, or relevant qualification.
• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
• Accreditation with Singapore IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) is preferred.
• Experience in restoration, civil & structural engineering, or project management is advantageous.
• Skills in Microsoft Office suite and CAD software (BIM and point cloud processing capability preferred).
• Flexibility to rotate between the office and on-site work; willingness to travel and work overseas if there is a business need.

• Responsible for creating quotations based on interior design proposals and client's budget for commercial projects.
• Conducting price negotiations with clients and suppliers for contract negotiation, contract administration, and handling variation orders.

Requirements:

• Diploma and above.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
